Tank Grips over 3M?

Has anyone here used 3M, Suntek or Xpel on their bike and then put tank grips over top? I ordered a Xpel stealth kit for my white V2 but was also wanting to get tank grips.

You should put the tank grips on first and then install the Xpel around rather than under the tank grips. Maybe someone else has tried grips over Xpel, but I would think that would not work.

I did and works just fine.just don’t put this on fresh 3m let this cure for little
