temi headers question

Ok, what is the difference between these two manifolds other than the price? There is a part number difference butr they seem to be the same thing based on the description. I have the termi slip on and have been debating whether to go ahead with this and make a full system or do the Akra full system. This would be a easier and cheaper way to do it. Also, I am curious where to find dyno comparisons between the various options (temi slip on vs full system vs akr full system) I plan to do the rapid bike upgrade too.

A replaces the older B unit.

Im guessing the B has the old smaller carbon fiber heat shield.

One comes with the up map for the Evo tune versus the Race tune that comes with the slip ons.

They both come with the same upmap key

It is simply the new part number for the manifold with new heat shield. Same headers and upmap.

Correct. B just has the smaller heat shield.

Good news is, most dealers will upgrade you at no charge under the recall.

I have the 2014 model so would that qualify for an upgrade? I believe the stock heat shield does not work with these headers

The stock manifold heat shield will not work.

Both termi A and B have carbon fiber heat shields in the kit your looking at.

You can get the B kit cheaper, and have the recall done to get the larger and better heat shield.

If you find the A kit for the same price, just buy the "A" kit.

Wrap or spray the termi under your seat, you will thank me later. Its better then stock as far as heat management
