Termi decals on stock exhaust

To the original question: The slip-on has a deeper sound than the stock. Personally, I can tell the difference in sound.

I couldn't tell the difference side by side, when I took mine in for a service, I listened to a slip on one. Certainly to me not worth $2K for a minute tone diff that I can't even hear. Not to mention according to some tests, performs worse than stock. But it does have those cool stickers...

how about an Ohlins sticker on the Sachs shock? On cars, each sticker = 3 additional horsepower, does that apply to bikes? I got a whole pack of stickies. Willing to share, PM me

Isn't that like the oppisite - Sachs are way better then Ohlins. Kinda like putting Monroe on a Bilstien.

the slip ons are really good for the money they cost.

Very nice Deep Sound (flames)

Beautifull Popping Sound when using the Quickshifter

Now with the new software coming up at the end of february we will have a better mapping and the bike will perform even better in the midrange.

stock better than termi slip on with performance? well i have raced a friend of mine wich had stock and also swapped bikes but the stock did not pull as hard as mine.

Though i also have the MWR airfilter but that is hardly noticable in performance. (sound does change a little)

Termi slipons are great, sound deeper, work well with new maps...and they're Termis! I know there's been plenty of bagging of Termi but its mainly the full system which bears ire of this forum. slipons are a great compromise. Having said that the stock exhaust sounds good but don't sticker it please.

FABO.... It's your bike so do as you please, but please don't do that:eek:! Owning the bike is enough no need to have a faux exhaust system. The stock look and sound have satisfied many just the way it is...

Baffles in our out? In you will find little difference between the slip on's and stock. With baffles out very noticeable difference. I haven't felt much of a performance gain, but then again I didn't ride the bike long enough stock to make a true judgment in that department. Also you will be surprised at how many 1199 owners don't realize that the slip on have removable baffles in them.

Hey, I noticed you are local to me. Ride down to my office real quick so I can hear your termis. I am trying to decide if I want some or not. :)

that's a poor man's move (you dont need to me poor to pull a poor man's move, you just need to be shameless)

This thread got me thinkin'... I should buy an R then mock it up as a base model. :)
