Termi UpMap D184SR Issues

Is removing the lambda o2 sensors the solution ?

Don’t know if it’s a solution but on the ‘21 and prior bikes disconnecting the lambda sensors is instructed.

And from BPs post it looks like it’s the same on the 22. Simply unplug the connectors.

Thanks man

I will test it today at the track

Yes, i am realizing I should have gone with a better tune (had a good experience on the 19 bike)

Maybe in a few months, right now need to do what I can, with what I got

Don't sweat it, the map makes a very small difference, enjoy your wheels 👌

Spark exhaust was great

Awesome!

Are the cans swappable?
Something about the Spark design makes it look much better than the Akra one. The cans look tucked closer to the tail, less of a wheelbarrow look.
Check out their website… they have some new exhausts that are rather interesting, including several 2023 WSBK variants.

I’m rather fond of the Akra overall but I agree that the cans are unnecessarily far apart.

Spark look like they’re in game on mode… for real, check out spark.it or whatever

hi,
im new to the forum, and concerned on this issue as by brand new bike also waits me to install D184 and Upmap. Has any of you somehow sorted this out? I can also see that upmap even removed this specific D184 from their selection....
Has any of you tried Akra(low version) V4 22 AK FRL TRACK - UpMap - Need 4 Power ?

I really doubt that back pressure is that much different on Akra(low) and Termi(low) and if the Akra map is better maye worth to try?

Yes, i saw they removed the maps

Customer service, is not bad, it is just unexistant

No one answer no mails, or contacts on their web page.

I bet they could have fixed the problem with a minor update on the map.

But I think what they really want is you to buy their custom maps that are like 200 extra.

in that Case better go with a custom tune

If you can, stay away from the t800

Just a wild question for experts at the field(as I’m not), is it really so different map for full Akra low vs OEM headers and Termi low slip-on(D184)?

all the back pressure, piping slight difference and etc considered I still believe Akra full map is better option then OEM map + servo eliminator(as this map is designed to use with catalyst). As both are low short systems with slight differences in piping and end cans.

by Akra full map I don’t consider Akra with OEM Akra map but map what can be purchased individually still from upmap site:

Disconnect Lambdas and I had to install uninstall reinstall the map for my exhaust 3 times before I got the correct dash read out and a bike that ran ok. My solution was go back to stock. Grab the UpMap device in my left hand. Hold it steady on my workbench and smash the .... out of it with a hammer held in my right hand.
Then get with Daniel Deussen and solved.
Daniel’s customer service has been excellent. UpMap customer service as mentioned is non existent.

+1

I can't say I had cause to smack my T800 with a hammer, but Deussen has proven to be an amazing resource.

Someone just pointed it out to me, but there is a new map, and it's free for a slip-on. Haven't tried it yet, but doesn't hurt to try it, especially when it's free. I tried the D184 SD and SR, both have similar problems at idle.
