Termi D184 revs fluctuate at idle

Question

Has anyone tried buying the termi RACE MAP?

Maybe this 200 dlls maps solve the issue?

I think that one is designed for a full race system so not sure how much it would help. Plus that's a lot of gambling considering the cost of it. I did however get the maps designed for with and without the baffles to see if they helped. The one with the baffles seemed to work a lot better in cooler temps, but still have issues when it gets warmer. I don't think it was designed for idle at all. It is a track-focused map so just have to deal with the idle issue I guess. Once it gets going, it goes!

Hi, I have seen in up map a new Free map called V4 22 SO. The description mentions that it is for Slip-on exhaust. I do not know if it may help with your issue: V4 22 SO - UpMap - Need 4 Power

Thank you for the info, I just downloaded the map under my profile. I'll get that on the bike and see how it does. I have the two for the Termi D184 SD and SR, and now this slip-on one. You'd think that out of the three 1 will work.

I don't see the old maps anymore (D184 SD and SR), I have them in my profile, but there are not available for anyone who doesn't already have them. I only see the D200 for the Termi. Does anyone else see the D184s in there?

No man

They took them of the page like 3 weeks ago

Now they upload this for free, I suppose it should fix the issue.

But today I got a real tune done locally, will test it out on Saturday at the track.

The D184s upmap are back with a note on DTC EVO3. But it doesn’t make sense since all 22 Panigales and up have EVO3 software?

DTC EVO3 is an update for slick tyres (BBS and Dashboard will be updated) that you can buy through your Ducati dealer. In Europe the Update is over 600 Euros.

Ah, thanks for clarifying. I initially thought Ducati Traction Control EVO3 and DTC EVO3 were the same

Since I already have the map under my account, will it update to the new one or will I still have the old one? Has anyone tried to use an old one they have? I'm currently using the generic one they had up for a little bit, and not really liking it but it's better than killing the bike every 2 mins.

I will upmap my bike tomorrow (D184 SR)and see if it has fixed the idle fluctuations issue. If it’s good then maybe you can try uploading the map you purchased to see if it’s updated.

Just installed the exhaust and D184 SR upmap. Initial impressions are:
- Idle fluctuations seems more stable. Rev bounces from 1000-1200rpm and stabilizes itself after 3-4 sec
- There’s a lurching feeling when letting rev drop low in 1st gear around 3000-4000rpm (Street mode). I have tried 2nd gear and 3rd gear but couldn’t replicate this. I haven’t tried in other riding modes
- Power seems good, no flat spot felt throughout the rev range

Will go on a longer ride tonight and update this thread later

After a longer ride tonight I have some updates:
- Bike no longer has any rpm fluctuations.
- 1st gear lurches forward when rev of the bike drops to around 4-5k rpm. It’s as if it’s trying to compensate not to drop the rpm too low (maybe running a little rich?). It does this in all riding modes. Only happens in 1st gear.
- On/Off throttle is smoother than stock map
- Bike is much cooler than before. No more heat blisters.
- It shoots flames on upshifts 😁

Overall, I’m pleased they fixed the rev fluctuations but it’s not perfect. If the t800 did not come with the slip ons I’d go with other tuning options such as Deussen Engines.

Thank you for such a detailed feedback, I'm out of country at the moment but it'll be the first thing I do when I return.
