Termignoni 4 USCITE XXX

Ducati Forum

Help Support Ducati Forum:

1. Much more cast and stainless than Titamium. (8 lbs less than stock accounting for all pieces removed vs all parts added. Most weight savings from heat shields removal.)

The system is sold as a stainless system. A full titanium system is in the works however from what I hear there has been some problems with full titanium systems on the V4 engines (non Termignoni brand) (ie, cracking etc).

I did the install on a couple of these, and haven't had any of them with issues as described, except the belly pan finish. We send them to be clear coated and if done right it looks great.

Upmap is to be released before August, patiently waiting on that right now.

With aftermarket rear sets, you can simply cut away what is needed on the belly pan to make clearance, if you look at any race team currently running the 4 Uscite, they've also don this. The cutting is very minimal, but I guess it depends what rear sets you are running.

We and the most race teams we are in contact with run the Spider rear sets as well.

Hi MotoMillion I contacted you on FB regards the rear slilencer and how much it blocks the rear brake light (something that might be an issue for UK road use). Would you be able to post up a video of the rear of the bike from directly behind, with brake light on and off. Also do you have any pictures of the licence plate holder and does it accommodate the stock indicators and how is the wiring heat shielded from the exhaust (like the 999 inside a metal tube?). As I also mentioned before, is the closing fit alignment of the two halves of the bellypan accurate (particularly just in front of the rear wheel, as they seem to be off in most of the pics and video I have seen as well as where the right side of the bellypan curves around the clutch cover and meets the mid fairing, it is also a little off. Do you have any pics of the left hand side of the bellypan. Any other pics or close ups of the system would be greatly appreciated and congrats on the Jaret Campisi V4 hook up, I am sure it will generate a lot of business for you. Shame we don't have Patreon in the UK.

The FM exhaust is better looking GP style solution that this by far. Caveat being I know nothing about FM or what the power gains would be like...

Hi Guys,

It's been a long wait....

Termignoni's Carbon Fibre Tail Tidy/License Support is leaving Italy tomorrow for the V4 and on it's way to BR Special Tuning.

Will supply pictures as soon as it arrives =)

Regards
Jay

Update. Sending the exhaust back to the retailer after yet another email from Termignoni saying the map won't be available until after September 1st. I have been waiting since April. Nevermind the fact of all the problems and even more identified.
Bottom carbon panels in addition to looking like garbage the left one does not even come close to lining up. So Akro for me it is Ladies and Gents, fit and finish seems proper for $5k exhaust more so than the Termi.

^^ what a shame, sorry you had to go through all of that. Akra is the way to go, developed for the bike with ducatis help. ˆam sure motomillion guy will be on here any minute to explain all of this away... ha

The good news is I am now well aquainted with disassembly and reassembly. I have my Akro in hand with body work and the install seems very straight forward. Plus my dealership assures me the tune is very much available and waiting for me once the install is complete. I will post my install and opinion of the quality in a new thread for those that are curious with pictures.

Akro installed. Wow! This exhaust is fantastic. Definately a far superior build quality compared to the Termi! Installed 0 problem. Everything perfect. I was impressed and thats not super easy to do. Tuned and road/track ready!
And I don't have to wait until October for a tune I bought in April to ride my motorcycle.
