I really like this system but I need to find out if it doesn’t block the tail light

I'm liking this . I'm thinking of cancelling the Akropovic and buying this . Where is the best place to buy ?

I did not like the race version shown a few months ago, but this version looks good in my opinion. Brings back that GP look instantly. And I have to imagine the performance will be on par or superior to the underbelly and side mount options released so far. When I pick up a V4, this will be the way to go for me, as the bike will see mostly track.

It must be hard to build an exhaust for this bike that isn't b'fng ugly .

kind of counter intuitive , because all the motogp exhaust look like a work of art and they have the manufactures badging on them Arrow, termi, akra, etc etc.

I don't completely hate the lower part of this exhaust but the top by the tail IMO looks like they lost the plot and just said .... it

I received an email from Termignoni today confirming that the 4 Uscite system as pictured above is a race only system. As it obstructs the brake lights (which are inboard of the tail lights within the led cluster), it is not road legal, notwithstanding the db levels. I'd also be very wary of running a hot exhaust system quite so close to the fuel tank with no apparent heat shielding. Barbeque anyone? They also confirmed to me thay they are developing a second system which will be a 4-2 set-up (again with under tail silencers) and again for race use only. Perhaps an SL style Akra system?

A third system is also due for release later this year which basically retains the stock header pipes front and rear but replaces the entire underbelly/cat section with their own version. I had rather hoped they would include titanium headers as well but allegedly not.

The underbelly part looks better than any other system I've seen so far for the V4. If they could make all 4 pipes exit through the underbelly that would be a sweet system.

I have to agree with your thoughts with the fuel tank it just runs a bit too close for me . I have decided to stick with the Akra donkey .... exhaust

Agree on the third system they announced ... If they offer an option for titanium headers for this system ... they will for sure get my order !

You bet. Especially with its own upmap, you can bet that the warranty is gone in case something happens.

My dealer said aftermarket exhausts will void the warranty for the exhaust itself, and that's about it. It doesn't void the warranty for the entire bike. As far as its own upmap goes, maybe. But if you use the DP racing upmap for the akras, you'll probably get a decent performance boost and retain the warranty.

As far as I understand, the akra upmaps are only to bikes that have akras. Will be hard to find someone to split their akra with their upmap. Unless someone is getting a custom tune, but again voiding their warranty.

This is a grey area that I think will be dealer specific.
