heat is not a problem doesnt damage the plastic or anything it is fully fullfilled, plus here akrapovic told me they would cover if anything happens but nothin yet.
As for heat between the legs in summer days when its 30+ celsius in traffic and bike has over 100 you can feel the heat but i ride it in shorts in town and did not bother me so it is no problem like it was on other bikes.

Carbon heat shield has some covering on the interior that is doing its job good.

They also told me it took them ages to fullfill so heat doesnt make one problem and since one guy who had a prototype and tracked it during the development still did not damage anything melt plastic or etc so heat is fine,as for bike it self it breathes real nice you can feel how flexible it is with akra cause of the big tubes and flow inside

thank you. i plan on purchasing the akra exhaust once i see US retailers carrying it in stock. i look forward to seeing your video when you have a chance

Guys check if they have them some ppl say they do but still dont, when i got mine on july 5th i dont know how production is going so you do not wait like crazy it was worst most complčicated exhaust for akra to make.

I got up-map and it is ok,and add connector to that valve connection, you can buy that part jus so computer detects it even tho its not there

Now some bikes tend to light up service light due to missing exup valve,if that happens you use connector from termis and plug it even thos it does not have valve but it doesnt send message to ecu that is missing.

That is if that happens

Akra in US ?

Did we ever get a US distributor for the Akra System?

I am thinking I will pick one up.. I'll be the lab rat for this one....

Ronin can you let me know what you had to do to get the ECU sorted ?

Hi Ronin,

You have an very an awesome bike. It ´s beautiful I must say! Today I ordered an Akrapovic Evolution exhaust. Did you do any programing of the fuel injection or is it running well on the standard settings? Your windscreen is very nice as well. Where did you buy it?

Cheers,

Very good points. I would like something with originality, but with the Termignoni full exhaust, tax, and installation at $3700, that is very tempting. I can take it down to VA like I stated earlier to get the flash dyno tune from Rexxer and still keep the bike under warranty and have all this done by next week. I talked to Parts Unlimited and they said that Akra is not supposed to release until the first week of October. No doubt I would be paying for something very original, but seeing as how the Parts Unlimited price alone is $4300 before tax... not sure that it would be worth the wait. Plus installation would probably take longer since they haven't done it before, and then dyno time to tune since they haven't done this one before either. Definitely leaning towards Termi at the moment. What is the best Termignoni exhaust available for the civilian market? I know someone purchased a superstock full Termi exhaust and that didn't turn out so well. Is it just the Slip-on and Full? or is there a step higher? I see there is a "Street R?"

order it at a discount from a dealer out of state. you will get free shipping and no tax. retail is like 3600 you should be able to get 15% off from any dealer call npr ducati in ga or common wealth in KY.

all in i paid 2200 for my full system and i bought them separately. sold the slip up map as i no longer needed it to bring down the price of the full system.
