The Alps! Here I come!

Did Ljubljana to Piran, Slovenia on the old road yesterday, roads a good condition for the most part, police were out and got a couple of guys, not too many cars and goes from the bottom of the alps to the coast, dinner, sunbath and back to Ljubljana, its not bad for a day out and I met some good guys too. Check Planina, Postojna, Slovenia on goggle maps its fun.

My girlfriend is Italian and we are going from London down through Belgium, Germany, Austria and over the Stelvio pass into Italy in September. We'll travel down to Southern Italy and then return to the UK via France.

As mentioned earlier, the police in Switzerland are well on the ball and will literally hide behind bushes with speed guns to catch you. I do want to visit the country but we're going to avoid it this time around for that reason.

The Alps! Here I come!
