The other problem with the 1199 Panigale

I live in a minimally congested area and can ride around on a Sunday wearing a helmet, shorts, and tennis shoes on either my 899 or Monster and not have to worry about other drivers being within 30 feet of me.

However, there are idiots that weave in and out of Dallas rush hour traffic wearing the same that help drive my insurance rates up. I think by being sensible, one can gauge what they wear while riding their bike for themselves. However, when my coverage goes up because some moron doesn't mind being a statistic, then I DO start to give a .....

I'm a firm believer in Darwin's theory of natural selection and thinning out the gene pool. Ride however well dressed you like. In fact, burning up the family jewels will help what would otherwise be future potential award winners.

U are an idiot, if your riding a full blown race bike on the street in shorts and sandals no offense

That's a judgment call your not qualified to make, you don't know me, or the circumstance. Calling someone names you don't know classifies you as a fool, probably a young fool. Quite possibly a product of the "new feminized America" where any risk taking is "dangerous" and to be abhorred.

Like it makes a difference what "style" of two wheeled conveyance you're riding? Who's the idiot again?

And then which race bike? The 1199 base, Tricolore, S, R or SL? Because if it was an 1199RS then I would say "full blown race bike" but those others are street bikes. Now I'm convinced who the idiot is. Offense intended.

I think your splitting hairs. It's clear enough a statement to mean riding a bike, any bike, in such attire is foolish at best, painful and/or life threatening at worst. But then each to their own.

Agreed. This is the same idiotic logic that scooter riders have. They think that just because their machines can't go fast that somehow they are exempt from the injuries of motorcycles.

I made the mistake long enough ago to still rember that jeans offer absolutely nothing even at a 30km/hr low side. Mind you had I been wearing shorts I wouldn't have ruined the jeans.

So wait-you just called him a name, which according to you makes you a oh never mind my head hurts. Time to turn on some Fox News and get caught up on this feminization of America "scandal".
