The world's ultimate Italian track-day bike

A GP spec built bike with 230hp and a dry weight of 340lbs in a very limited quantity run = Big time $$

I don't see the point to be honest. I mean, I'm sure it's going to be a bad ... bike but if one is going for a collectors item kinda purchase, sure but if they're going after a bad ... performance bike for track use or whatever, they could spend far less and get an equivalent bike. Take the base model bike n replace everything with similar components. Obviously I could be completely wrong but I still wouldn't even if I could afford whatever this is going to cost. This would be the ultimate starbucks bike though. Now that would be enough reason to buy one but....

1) I couldn't afford even if I sold both my bikes and my RC-F
2) I don't do starbucks or any coffee shop so that rules me out as a potential buyer.

The €300k asking price rules me out as a buyer, plus, it's a BMW for gods sake; how does that make it the ultimate Italian? Not even if I won the lottery.

I guess cause an Italian made it...

So it's an Italian beauty stuffed with a German sausage...not like that's never happened before :D

It'd be nice if they worked with an Aprilia engine... or a desmosedici.

I agree, all Italian would be much better but it is a beautiful bike no matter the engine.

Lets see a race between that and the Superleggera and the Aprilia Misano RF to see if its more than just artwork...

Paging Gecko, Jello, MyGreenAlien and BigBoost lol..

Its a gorgeous bike.. But i woudnt pay that.. Id do a Green Alien to an SL first..

i dont believe this bike has abs :eek:or even traction control  ¿ ¿ ¿

There is so many more high quality engines out there.. The casting on the BMW (both the frame and engine) looks really awful... It serves it's purpose, but looks awful.. Like it was cast in a kindergarden sandpit...
