What are your guys thoughts on the SC Project S1-GP full exhaust for the V4? How many of you would buy one for its looks, performance , sound and maybe a custom or modified license plate bracket that may be needed? Here is a youtube video

Love the sound vids that are shot at night, in a closed garage, with the bike backed up against a wall

Still, you know how a bike sounds w one CR-T 70 on the street broad daylight. If accelerating at all they loud as hell. That thing has 2 of em!

What 1000cc engine requires 12 square inches of cross section at the collector?

When I posted this it was late at night and I was falling asleep. I didnt even realize the bike was backup up against the wall and in the garage. And I always make fun of dudes that rev their bikes in their garage with the garage door closed to make the exhaust sound better than it sounds outside LOL.

looks great but they need remove that ugly reflector off the fork bottoms
I rip my off all my bikes. At least its not stuck on the upper fork legs like they were on both my BMW's. When you get rid of them they leave that sticky residue material that needs to be removed from the fork legs. And I think their were reflectors on my my 1299 as well.

My 1299 with the underbelly exhaust is 80% quieter when I ride over one of those see through grate bridges, it’s pretty wild

I love that exhaust, the V4 is something special for sure! You need one in your collection

I have been talking to Eddie at Vance and Hines. We both think the primary tubes are too large, even from the factory. He suggested short (smaller) primaries and a huge collector that steps up twice. Then I went to burns stainless and brought Vince these numbers: Bore, stroke, rod length, valve size, duration at 040 lift, max lift, port shape, port size, flange shape, flange size, and gave him 8000-10,500 as where I was looking for peak power. We put it all in the computer and this is what it spit out:

(all those numbers are O.D. w .065 wall tubing!)

Gonna try to build one outta mild steel as per Vince’s computer program one day and see what it does on the dyno

3.25” venturi stepped up to 3.5” collector : )
