Originally as all of our 2015 1299's, I had the Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa SP tires. Then went with the Metzeler racetec RR K3 tires on both front and rear. Now its time to change the tires again. I havent done any track days this year. Usually I do about 8-12 track days a season and have my 1299 as well as two other BMW's that I alternate between those track days.

Im thinking of going a different route. At first I was thinking about going with the Metzeler Racetec K2 tires but Im not tracking the bike this year. And who knows what next season will bring. Maybe Ill get the V4. I was doing my research on a few different types of tires for the 1299 instead of basically DOT rated track tires with treads on them. Here was my breakdown on tires to choose. So here are my choices. Lets here what you guys have to say and please chime in with the reason you chose what you chose. If your tires werent included in my tire choices and you ride with something else then let me hear what you ride with and your reasons. The list is not the order of my choices. Its just a list. Im sure there will be some who say that the Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa SP's are the best of the best of the best. Thats not what Im looking for. And if you never tracked your bike you will never use those tires to their full potential LOL

1) Metzeler M9RR's
2) Pirelli Rosso Corsa II
3) Michelin Power RS

Can you give me your opinion on the difference between the Bridgestone RS 10's and RS 11's?

I went to bed 26 mins ago and quickly woke up to get a glass of water downstairs. Of course Ducatikev was awake to respond to my thread. YOU NEVER SLEEP LOLOL. Im going back to bed. Damn computers and forums LOLOL

My friend jumped on my V4 and I took his H2 and we did a quick 200mph run and when we pulled over the tires were so sticky that big Florida rocks were melted into them.
Super Corsas melt like chewing gum down here. Thinking Rosso corsas next time around cause they seem to be the only game in town for the rear tire profile. But idk if I would even get an extra 500 miles out of them. Looking like 2,500 miles on the SCs, maybe 3,000 but the rear is already squared off pretty bad

I am interested to see everyone’s opinions here cause my 1299 will need some new tires soon too. and I’ve got a flight to philly in a couple hours so I can be reunited with my 1299. I hope riding my 1299 again doesn’t ruin the V4 for me... or the other way around. We’ll find out

Youre finally going home to Philly? Damn broseff I bet youre excited about that. Now you can finally be reunited with the 1299. I know she is pissed off you cheated on her. LOL. Shoot me a text when you get back home to philly and then let me know when you want to head out my way. OK now Im headed back to bed. Im done responding to your philly ass. Lets Go Rangers, Lets Go Yankees, Lets Go Buffalo Bills, Lets Go Nets.....F&*K the NY Knicks LOL

I switched from OEM SP's to Hypersport S22's last year. Rides much better on the street as long as you have the PSI set right. Felt more confidence on Montreal pavement temps all the way through fall. On-ramps are much better. Wet and tread life is noticeably better. I don't see myself ever going back to SC's for daily riding.
