Damn these stock tires are soft. I just about hit 3,000 miles today.

Anyone tried the rosso 4 yet? This is a street only bike for me.

The tread wear indicator that is visible seems in fair condition. i cant say for sure because the pic doesn’t show the whole tire. I used rosso corsa 2 on track days that was worse than that, but on track there is not much riding on the center of the tire. 3000 miles seems a good amount of miles though.
on road I run rosso corsa II, maybe their longevity isn’t great as compared to other brands, but they are top notch performance in a huge variety of conditions. You probably still have few miles left but is it worth waiting? I mean rubber is the only thing that keeps us upright.

Nah, you've got plenty. I just finished a week of riding in Iowa on this tire- pic is from before the trip. There's no turns in Iowa, literally, so it was perfect for using the center where there's plenty of meat left.

It's toast. If you haven't already I would put on rosso corsa II tires as previously mentioned. They are great all around tires and have a couple thousand miles on a set and still look great and don't square off like supercorsa's do. Also ridden them in the rain and on track with multiple bikes.
Rosso IV just came out so probably not much feedback from anyone on those yet. The rear in the larger sizes have triple compounds like rosso corsa II's do so rear is probably similar. The front probably won't be as good on the track , but if you are not doing track days it probably won't matter much.
