Glad you enjoyed the video. That was the trackday Ducati held at Mugello for their Superleggera customers. I could have posted it here 6 months ago here but I thought that would just being showing off. I met so many cool Superleggera owners there, many who had never been in a track before. Some who had no plans to even ride their Superleggera too. But they all had one thing in common, nobody was trying to floss about how much money they had. And on top of that fact, these were guys you'd want to socialize with even if they didn't own a Superleggera.

To that point we have all kept in touch since Mugello and attending a reunion I organized to do California Superbike School Laguna Seca in June.

Here are some shots from Ducati's Superbike experience. (Is this showing offf?)

Wow that experience must have been amazing Ryan! I will be going to Italy in May. No track riding unfortunately but I'm hoping to take a tour of the Factory while I'm there.

The experience was so good Ducati has basically guaranteed I will buy every Superleggera edition they make, if it comes with a track day at Mugello on their World Superbike. I paid $100k for the most amazing experience, they Superleggera was the free souvenir haha

Badass pics, Brother! I had heard about it, but I couldn't make a SL happen soon enough to make it possible to attend. Sounds like it was an epic day for sure! Melandri's bike? Really?? I think I'm starting to hate you ;) lol ....... awesome! Thanks for sharing!

BTW, you look very familiar. I think we may have crossed paths somewhere, EICMA/Intermot/WSBK/MotoGP maybe?

You are a passionate purist and I respect your dedication and commitment to riding
To be on that track on that bike must have felt like a million bucks thank god for people like you without men like you in the world our average guys could not dream.
Stunning pics stunning bike and thank you for sharing

RYAN..... thanks for the Pics. Definitely on my "bucket list" Just to ride that circuit is a dream, To ride it on a 1299SL can't even imagine.

The best I've mustard up so far is Laguna Seca on a 1299FE...... :)

I think you just sold me on the V4 Superleggera whenever it comes out... just that experience alone must be worth the money! That looks like an amazing time. Thanks for sharing! These pictures sway me more to purchase a superleggera more than the bike itself!

Ducati had both Chaz and Marco’s actual bikes for us to ride. Access to the bikes was very limited because there was only two versus the fleet of Panigales and Superleggeras. Ducati made it very clear to us that if we crashed not fear the wrath the Ducati but rather from the other riders yet to get their turns. I still can’t believe how amazing it was to ride Marco’s actual race bike. The gearing on first was very long so course control staff push us out the pits to prevent anyone stalling. Apparently it’s a pain in the ass to restart the bike if it stalls, so they said.

WOW some real good has come from such a lack lustre start.
As the other boys have said thanks for sharing and lifting our spirits, this is what superbikes are all about.

So true. We should just delete everything up until Ryan's epic post.

As long as we're threadjacking for the moment, for all of you SL/R owners, what is the percentage split of riding on track vs. riding on the street? Just curious

Little richard this started with your original post and your butt hurt responses to our reaction to your attention seeking video. Anyways, like I said earlier I'm going to hijack your thread. If you're smart enough to not reply for a while, people will stop making fun of you.

Yeah show us more let's go!

Excuse me, was I talking to you?

Oh you bet I'm Ryan's fan boy after seeing those pictures. I'm living vicariously through him as well. Y u mad?

Sorry I can see you are protecting your boy friend... You the queen or is he?

Oh no need to apologize. I forgive you. But you seem sexually insecure... Might want to see someone about that. Y u mad?

Still at it I see. King/Ping, instead of alienating yourself from everyone here, why don't you try to follow some of the advice thrown your way and be part of the community? There is a lot of knowledge and information to be gained here which will be facilitated by getting along with everyone. Troll-like comments, not so much. AFAIK, this is the main forum for SL information. If you plan on keeping the bike and getting the most out of it, it is in your best interests to develop relationships that will allow you to do so.
