Whoa whoa whoa there, Captain. Be careful there. I don't have a gold chain but the rest of it hits pretty close to home.
Love the Aston story. Makes a lot of sense to me and something that I identify with, although with another brand and not necessarily Aston. Still, it helps me understand a lot.
I've owned some pretty epic sports cars: 1973 Porsche Carrera RS 2.7, 1979 BMW M1, 1982 Lamborghini Countach, etc. etc. and ended up selling them all and only holding on to several special cars from another Italian manufacturer. I've never owned an Aston and to be honest, I've never understood them. It's not that I think that they're bad cars - far from it, in fact. It's just that I've never been able to understand why I would choose to give up a spot in the garage to an Aston over something else more, well, red blooded. This explains a lot so I appreciate that.
