Hi everyone, I thought I would give you guys a link to our facebook and instagram pages so that you can follow our progress on the 1199R AMA Superbike program we have undertaken. We are working with Ducati North America, Ducati Corse in Italy, Ducati Omaha and the bikes are being built and developed by Desmo Veloce in Phoenix AZ. We have done some pretty amazing modifications to the bike so I encourage you to follow us and ask me any questions that you might have. Our Instagram page has lots of pictures of the parts we have developed for our racing efforts. Not sure if or when we will be in a postion to retail parts but Ducati Omaha will be your source so speak to Jarel and the gang there. Thanks Rod.

BTW we are thrilled to be aligned with the following DOC clubs. Ducati AZ, Demsodromi Club KS, Ducati Owners of Minneapolis MN, Ducati Users of Western Canada AB.

I actually just got a box of prototype parts from DesmoVeloce this week, so shouldn't be long before we have some of them tested and up for sale on the web site!

Here is a left side of the bike photo. Note the oversized radiator we designed to use the stock inner shrouds, the enhanced front shock mount. CF mounting plate for the electronics. We moved all of the electronics down from crash impact areas. Also note the Kevlar fuel cell that moves the fuel down, back, increases capacity and saves 3lbs.

Right side shows new battery location, our billet oil plate, carbon battery box, cleaned up wiring. We are using the Ducati Corse WSSK harness and electronics.

Kevlar fuel cell with fuel moved to rider seating area as per factory bikes. AMA rules do not allow the use of a tubular subframe like the WSBK factory bikes. We are now working on a club racing tank that will increase the air box area.

Very cool! Thanks for sharing.

Interesting that of all the choices out there, you went with the Rizoma RRC rearsets.

The team has been working with Rizoma for some time. They are easy to install and replace after a crash which the Ducati Corse units are not. However we have had some issues with them bending and making contact with the swing arm.

Quick change front end. Allows you to remove the front wheel without removing the calipers, fender, etc. A must if you race series requires safety wire on the caliper bolts.

Desmo Veloce front quick change hardware. The stock mounts have to be machined off, forks dismantled and reassembled with fresh oil.

This is the Desmo Veloce front shock mount, spring collar, shock eye, rear ride height adjuster. The front mount is twice as strong as the factory mount, allows us in combination with the spring collar kit and shock eye to use the old style (less expensive) Ohlin's springs from the 848-1198 series or the standard 1199 springs. Ride height adjuster allows easy adjustments.

Note the front shock mount and ride height adjuster can be used with the standard 1199 Ohlin's setup to improve defection on the shock and make adjustments to the ride height simple.

This is exactly why this forum is just awesome!

So many generous riders who are willing to share their experiences and even struggles with our platform for the greater good of the community. This type of stuff is priceless and quite a few members on here have gone this route with their generosity.

Thanks for sharing and good luck to you in your quest.

Here's a box with some REALLY cool stuff in it! ;)

WOOHOO!

Can't wait to finally see Jake ripping it up out there. I want to see him on the podium just so we can watch his celebrations.
