Does anyone know how to reset and the trip meter, and keep one going or just make them count different trips? Also how do I start and stop the trip timer?
Btw I don't have the manual!

Thanks in advance

With the trip meter you wish to reset being displayed, pull the headlight high beam flasher (pull in) for 3 seconds. It will reset to zero.

I didn't know that would work. I have been resetting the trip meters as follows:
1) display the trip meter that you want to reset.
2) press (for 3 seconds) the same button that you use to select the trip meter (i.e., the button above the turn signal button).

I stand corrected. Use the UP button. The flash to pass button is used to start/stop the lap timer. My bad.

If you read my orig. post I don't have the Holy manuel! Durrr! You deffinetly gotta be the most angry Aussie I've come across!

Maybe he left his "shimp on the barbie" a little to long (while reading the manual) and they burned, so he is not having a good day.

Sorry, didn't get far enough to read that you don't have it.

My 'anger' is a product of everyone wanting everyone else to do their work for them on forums.

Pisses me off and I jumped the gun in this case.

Possible. I HAVE spent a lot of time reading the manual so I don't post stupid .... on a forum.

I read mine from cover to cover a few times. I am really looking forward to getting my hands on a shop manual though.

I'm looking forward to getting my hands on a damn bike!

'shop manual would be good.

Bought my 848 one for $8 or something from some seemingly dodgy website, but they came through with the goods.

Might appear in a similar fashion.
