I have a stock 1299 and purchased the tuneboy to clean up the low throttle/low rpm fueling/surging.

If I flash the tuneboy tune designed for a stock 1299 what differences will there be vs the stock tune from Ducati? Does it richen up the low rpm/low throttle area? Or do I need to do some datalogging/tuning in order to accomplish this?

Thanks in advance.

Tb will make it better

If not put it back

No need for anything else if no access to dyno

I hear from a friend that the latest iPhone app is coming along nicely,
You can get below and instructions on there too.

The app has various maps with explanations.

Send your iPhone edid number first to Emma or Wayne at Tuneboy for it to work.

Thanks guys. For a stock bike should I be loading one of the trim files as well or just the tune?

You do both.

Tune file is the re-flash file to "unlock" th ecu

The Tirm files are the "maps" you upload.

I am kind of understanding but then why are there different tune files for stock, akra slip on and akra full exhaust then? I would think there would be one tune file to unlock the ECU and then different trim files for stock, akra, etc.

And if I download the tune files from the tuneboy website the download does not contain any trim files but the USB drive that came with my tuneboy has a folder with various trim files in it.

What am I missing?
