Tuneboy downshifter

Help Support Ducati Forum:

If/when you survive the migraines, you'll dig it man. You can download the latest software/tunes off their website now. The cd it comes with was unreadable for my netbook with external cdrom drive lol. Buena suerte!

You simply flash the stock std tune. I think it's coded "stick1" or something stupid like that. Or you can simply flash a previous trim file and start from there again. Once you get going with the software you'll understand what we're talking about. :D

The OEM ECU firmware is labeled:

Panigale1199_V207_STDTune.dat

The "Stick1.dat" files are Tuneboy ECU firmware(s) for use with the standard exhaust but still allow the other Tuneboy features.

The whole stick thing is a reference to them being on USB sticks in days past.

Yea what he said. Sorry I forgot about the 2 different oem tunes. Thx! Didn't mean to add confusion to this software haha.

After years of sitting on my Tuneboy, I finally flashed my bike. I used the Cruise Only flash, and all seemed fine until I did the "Pre-flight" check. It's a way to test the Cruise installation. It says use the clutch to change the 0 to a 1, and the brake to change the 0 to a 1, Clutch works fine, but brake is already at a 1, so no change when I apply the brakes. Help???

Same thing happened on mine. Didn't effect operation at all. While the bike is at idle, and in neutral, if you press and hold the start button the engine speed will blip slightly. This will let you know the cruise is functional.

I tried that and no blip - should I try to re-flash?

I find the preflight has never worked. Just skip it. And I don't engage the cruise control at idle. Try it at speed by pressing and holding the start button for 5 or 6 seconds and the bike will take over. Bet it works

OMG - It works!!! I love it - I have a road leading out of my neighborhood posted at 35mph - I just set it to 40 and relax! Can't wait to try on a road trip.

BTW, because mine is so old, and it made me update the firmware on the device - WB01 - Nothing on the sie said how to do it, or where the firmware update was. I found a link on another Ducati forum to the guy's dropbox account. Downloaed, ran the exe, and voila, updated.

Told ya! For future reference, the TB website has the latest software files. Now the quickshifter will be another headache haha. And don't forget, you have to "engage" the cruise control every time you start the bike. I ALWAYS activate the CC while at speed. And if you lose the throttle input all together like a few of us have, just pull over, and turn the bike off, wait 30secs, and repower, and she'll be fine :)

And we all complain about the instructions and non-responsive customer support. Thank Baby Jesus for forums like this LOL :D

I see it has the latest files, but they need a firmware update link for the WB01. When you say re-engage each time you start it, or the first time you set it you need to hold it for 4-5 secs first.

Is the blip/downshift feature hard to set? An who is using the optional cruise control button? That start button is hard to find at night lol!

Trauma , it means that each time you turn the ignition off you will have to re activate the CC, i.e. start bike in neutral then hold down starter button for a few seconds till engine blips and you are good to go.
How good is it !Myself and another forum member went for a blast yesterday and when ever you hit a spot where the law lurks , just set and forget, also good in the boring bits , you can sit up ,stretch and relax till the next engaging section comes along!
I love it!

I am using the nudge buttons , was not sure when I ordered them , but now they are there I think they are definitely worth it , much easier to set cruise and the to nudge the speed up and down , also on the occasions where you have to touch the brakes and it disengages CC THE resume feature works well .
No the downshift /throttle blipper is quite easy to adjust , Sergio and myself have been back and forth sorting the settings out , he has working well now and has posted a screen shot of his settings, I am close but still tinkering , when I have it sorted I will post up my setup.

This is it, right? I have been saving this for when I finally flashed!

I have the nudge buttons and I love them. You ALWAYS have to activate the cruise control with the start button after you turn the bike off. When you touch a brake to disengage it, then from then on you just hit the "set" nudge button to re-set, or the "resume" nudge button.
