I did a lot of tinkering with the blip time only to go back to the original chart after a bit of riding and getting used to it.
Thing is that when lugging around in city traffic you might get some surging, but for everything else it's near perfect. Make sure your throttle is closed when downshifting is very important, too.

I do have surging at Alot of different points. Do you have a screen shot of your settings? Would like to try it if possible. Should give me a good starting point I think.
