Tuneboy Tuning Development

Ducati Forum

Help Support Ducati Forum:

Here's the Tune I'm currently using. It's a bit smoother than Disco's, especially in 1st. 1st is turned down to 75% at the top end, 2nd to 90%, and 3-6th are the same setup.

@Disco I finally had a track weekend last weekend and tested out the tune and it worked well, no issues. Certainly smoother in the mid range RPM's which is what I was after. Thank again !!

On another note related to this thread (Tuneboy Tuning) have you or others used the Tuneboy program on the Dyno? Trying to capture some lessons learned before I try this myself?

Glad it worked out for you Seth!

I did get the tune developed in the Dyno

My files all use 100% throttle. They just change the rate of getting there. Pretty sure 1st got to 100% at 100% input, but they act as quick throttles for subsequent gears eg 100% to at 80% input

Sorry, I meant the load table, so zero MAP sensor input. I know I can easily change the table to 100, I'm looking for something that's been tuned to run on TP only though.

I didn't modify those tables.

I should also point out that these tables don't change the fuelling, just the ratio between the accelerator and the throttle opening.

Hey Ducati members!
I copied the smooth throttle tables for my 899 Panigale
If anyone has an 899 Panigale feel free to use this file

This is for Cruise+ Tune
I set the thermo fan to 97-93 degree celsius
I also have a hardcut rev limiter in Neutral Gear at 5376 RPM

Anyone who can create a burble tune/pop and bang tune
I want my 899 to bang when I shift gears at high rpms
I also want it to burble when I decelerate

Tuneboy disables the PAIR valve which injects air into the exhaust and causes a burble. Unless you have a leaky exhaust I don't know how to cause it. My bike does occasionally pop during shifts on hard acceleration, but the tune file won't work on your bike, sorry

My stock cans are cored, so there are not cats in it
What will happen if I install the AIS Valve Removal Kit with the Block off plates?
