I will no longer state my problems with this bike because it aggravates me. If someone asks me how i handled it or the outcome i will answer the best i can. My bike is away for the winter. fresh oil and as of now no problems. If i get the oil like that may be the last straw but NO MORE COMPLAINING IT BRINGS ME DOWN.

Oh almost forgot there is now at least a 6 week delay in production of the HP4. dont know what it is trying to find out. was suppose to get it end of this month. i was going to give it to a friend as i cant take delivery till march and take my friends spot when his was to be delivered in april. doesnt look like this is going to happen.

is this an omen?:confused:
 
Nice to see you quitting like the ...... in your avatar. You may not be able to ride like Stoner, but at least you can quit and whine as well as he can. ;)

im quiting complaining. as far as stoner goes he has a pretty nice gig. motogp legend. 6 straight philip island wins (when rossi did 5 they said that would never happen again) was at the time first to win at every single track on the motogp calender. 2 time world champ and to pass time ride the repsol as a test rider.

i know rossi 7 time champ (im not counting lower wins like moto 2 or 125) endorse everything great personality face of motogp.

as far as riding goes im terrible. i should ride 250 or dirtbikes not 1000cc superbikes but how am i to pick up ..... with a 250 ninja?

capt you going to both vir schools may and aug?

lol..another Stoner infomercial. I haven't picked a school yet, but prob won't do both. I was kind of waiting around to see if anybody was going to sign up and preferred one over the other, but if nobody jumps on it I'll prob do May since I am jonesing to get a couple track days on that new 2014 S1K. :)

keep me posted also the yamaha boys are going to vir also just need to get a date. they are doing privates now as they are trackless because miller is car only now.

Roger. If nobody else jumps on my VIR thread I'll just sign up for the May class and be done with it. I am hoping to take the Pani and stay through the weekend unless my clear coat bubbles. :D

bike is still plenty rideable with clear coat failure. i go so fast you wont even see it

lol.. if a camera can't even pick it up I bet I wouldn't see it sitting still either. I wonder if the clear coat issues are strictly a red pani problem? I'll check mine and see.
 
Mark glad your staying for a while longer. Hopefully the Pani will quit letting you down.

Mark Glad to see the new outlook on the bike because thats one awesome bike you have. Also with the addition of the HP4 nothing should get you down. If something happens to one of your bike just hop on the next one and just keep smiling as you are driving down the road. :) :) :) :) :)
 
Okay Mark I unblocked you. Let's see how long it lasts. Doing any mods while its in the stable?
 
I think the 6 week delay was because they found out Mark was purchasing one and they need more time to try and fix all the bugs...

Mark you might want to let BMW know they can get back to their regular production schedule now.:p

Not sure if you have been there Capt?
If I am still around come that time I will gladly go down with you and show you what an unreal venue this is. Staying overnight in their trackside suites overlooking the straight of course. One cant go there for over one day and not sleep over the beautiful garages under these suites. Best track of all time for me man.

May be looking to part with the racebike and full decked out and carpeted race trailer with every piece of race gear included in the deal. Its not a Ducati but come very close with sound and handling so super for anyone seeking to break into the scene. More to follow on this deal.

Lemme know when those dates are come next spring and we shall see. Hell we cant even get you to go out to a local coffee shop so who knows if driving 4 hrs south is in the cards for ya man? Maybe Mark and his HP4 Comp can lead the way to VIR !! :eek:

Ha! Yep, I was there in august and stayed trackside over the garages. Planning to do that again for sure.

my mods are simple this year. i got the zero gravity corse wind screen. (had the double bubble but i scratched it. i am also adding the crg carbon brake and clutch covers. my friend bought the duca bike oilaqurium if i like that i will get that too and thats it. im concentrating on getting the hp4 now. my 1199 is pretty well modded
