Hi all,

Has anyone from the uk been given a date or approx to when they will be getting there 1199, more so the tricolore?

My dealer is giving nothing away but calling around a couple of other they can offer me a bike confirmed for the end of May, i appreciate that the dealers won't know exactly when they are coming but an approx is always a positive!!
 
According to the recently posted production schedule, Tric's start w/c 30th April.

Now, guessing the factory would want to send bikes that have the longest transit time first (US, AUS etc...), I would expect UK and Europe to receive this model late May, through to mid June. I think its also safe to say that Italy would be excluded from this, as Ducati Milano seemed very confident of seeing all models in April :rolleyes:
 
end of may i can cope with but any later and i think i'll bail it, gonna give dealer another call mid week and try and get some answers, its a lot of dough not to be knowing when i expect to see the thing.
 
my dealer informed me on friday that i should have mine by easter bikes are being stockpiled for deliverys to dealers from 26 th march

I received the same message from my dealer on Friday, the stockpiling is being done to ensure the same day release to all UK dealers, all being well, I am told I should receive mine by 6th April, just in time for Easter:)
 
Mines also coming from Leeds, but last time I spoke to them (early last week), they had no information other than that being banded around on the web. Mines an 'S' with ABS.

i talked to paul friday afternoon says should be good for easter my tax and insurance up on my bike end of month hence reason to ask the question when is the 1199 here
 
I hope you are correct, but fear it may not be the case in all honesty.

Not the end of the world if slips a few weeks, well to me anyway. I would however like to have an actual date to be working to as have certain matters to sort out & don't want to recieve a call saying the bike will be here in a couple of days ...........

I've spoke to Paul every few weeks, and it seems they are as much in the dark as everyone else. Did he mention when they would be getting thier demo bike in ?
 
no didnt ask about demo bike other than he had had a memo from ducati with the end march for delivery i am not fussed if it slips just cant be arsed messing around with bike insurance twice in a month
 
Spoke with the dealer this morning. Paul's currently not there as at the training course for the Panigale for 2 days, however they were not aware of when bikes were coming in as far as they knew, only that they should have a demo early April. Certainly didn't sound like a bike before Easter.

Paul is back in Thursday so will give him a call then to see if he knows more than Richard (who I spoke to, but believe is Triumph side really).
 
My dealer suggested that they 'might' have a couple of customer bikes arrive before their demonstrator.
Not holding my breath though

Yep, Paul stated the same to me a week or so ago. Let's hope it's not an April Fools joke ;)
 
I had a similar story from my dealer, should be arriving in the next two weeks. They're also expecting my bike, their first, before their own demo bike. As I'm away on holiday for 2 weeks as of next Wednesday, you can all reliably expect to receive your bikes next Thursday :-(
