should get mine 2nd week of May if all goes to plan, am now comtemplating ordering the full termi system to go with it, or maybe just the end cans for the sound effect, def on order are an R&G tail tidy, comfort seat and screen.

To be honest there isnt much difference between standard and open pipes especially at low revs
i think the open pipes are louder at high revs though
 
Drove down to laguna Motorcycles in Ashford, Kent. UK this afternoon. Had a look at their demo bike and they also ahd a very nice looking 848 Tric too.
Had a look round the clothing department and have eyed up some nice Knox gloves and getting some prices through for a new Arai. Exciting times ahead :D

That is a late expectation for delivery, did you make a late order?

Ordered in Dec, base model with ABS, dealer told me today im actually there first customer for the base. have you ordered one Andav? we proberbly used the same dealer if you did.??

Yes, same model, ordered from ItaliaMoto Lincoln, expected end of April, though I'm not holding my breath!
 
ah, not the same dealer then, i ve gone with sycamore ducati in uppingham.
Seemed a good set up there and nice people to deal with (in case there looking in on the forum!!:D)
 
Just recieved 'the' call. Bike will be at dealers Tuesday. Have agreed a Friday delivery to my office, so hoping the sun is out on 20th !!!

Sycamore have a base with ABS available for end of April (I believe they had a cancelled order)
Have a chat with them, they may be able to bring your order forward:D
 
hhmmmm interesting.....there due to call me tomorrow to discuss taking in my part ex, so i,l ask the question. thanks for the heads up.
 
I just don't understand how each dealer can't release all the first batches together at the same time, because at the minute we have odds and sods that have been delivered across the country.... Hows that work, surely can't be that difficult to logistically release them at the same time? I know its not the dealers themselves, its obviously Ducati delivery method etc... But Apple manage it, yes those items are a lot smaller and a lot cheaper etc etc however there are a lot more of them. Just baffles me..... Or may be its just the pain of waiting....
