We had similar issues with Moto GP and WSB with SKY TV (paid per view) in NZ losing their rights to air it, Moto GP live is now free to air (Sommett TV, they rock!!!!!) and only replays on SKY with the WSB. It sucks aye, we want to see this premier racing, and some tosser in an office somewhere conveniently forgets to sign something (imagine if this happened to SuperBowl, there would be rioting in the streets!!!! The AMA Road Series is awesome close racing correct? Some heads need to roll I say!!!!
 
So what will Scott Russel do this weekend? You'd think he'd be just as vocal and upset making the world hear him.

As much as I am bummed that this won't be filmed, I won't miss Hayes killing everyone by several seconds to minutes. Good dude, good rider, just boring with no competition.
 
Anyone use twitter? I don't, but this is an idea: Check Russel's twitter account and see if he is talking...? Just a thought.

I don't think he would say anything too sensational, I believe he likes his job and paycheck.
 
Plus, that just sucks as I was looking forward to more Danielle Teal onscreen. At first, I found her annoying with her amateurish broadcast style and lightweight questions for riders/crew chiefs. But the looks have grown on me. Have you seen this? - WARNING: ....!!!

After watching Mid-Ohio this weekend I thought to myself "I bet she looks good naked.." Again ducati forum answers all. I knew it was pretty good... she's short but it'd be fun none the less..

I was getting to like the CBS sports broadcast of AMA and thought Laguna would be no different. Until I tried to set my DVR... bad form, bad form indeed.
 
gunny, i thought you didnt get that channel anyway as you have a crappy cable provider.
 
i for one am bothered cause this is in my sports pack. the channel is of no use to me except for ama racing. the sports back will be dropped as soon as world superbike and ama is over. i get all these regional sports channels as well as be in sport.
 
Not sure what everyone is bitching about - but c'mon, the viewership for AMA is pathetic. Which one of you guys would actually buy advertising on an AMA race ? The Superbike is the Josh Hayes show with a little Herrin in there. The lower classes are much more competitive but nowhere near enough people will watch. . .

If its so great to be worthy of being televised, just be an advertising sponsor. I don't Bellisimoto putting money and sponsoring AMA for Laguna. (Using Bellisimoto as an example here, but no other real sponsors either).
