i actually cannot believe the cops attitude, but it's another reason to lane split just get ahead of the traffic as when your are driving like that on a bike it seems to be inevitable that someone will try and get into your box or just won't notice you.

Really? What an a$$hole. You're in the wrong, just admit it.
I can't wait for this dick to get what's coming to him.

very funny indeed. Many good police officers out there but few are just terrible and a low life.

Okay, the cop was too close but seriously what the hell was the Bike rider doing? Admit it, the bike rider's driving was erratic and goofy. Driving on the white line and stopped way too early. Granted the cop was too close in stop and go traffic. Clearly, he was embarrassed and was a jerk about it. Most cops become jerks after a while of dealing with the public. Just providing a different view.

I agree. I understand these things can happen, but his attitude of the situation made it not professional.

He could of start of by saying "I apologize and are you o.k.?" :D

Yes that biker was a moron, you dont sit in a cagers blind spot and be all apprehensive. Definitely could have been avoided, but ultimately he did nothing wrong and got rear ended which is the arrogant cops fault and he should be disciplined. "we good?" psh, fuck you cop, protect and serve my ass...

How do you know? can we follow it?

This info was revealed by his son-n-law to a rider over on R6 Forum (i frequent that place still). IA proceedings are quite but i am sure this will make some news channel sooner or later.

As a federal LEO, I will share one piece of advice with you. In US there are a lot of different PDs/Sheriff stations/Highway Patrol barracks and etc. However, there are several agencies which employ some of the biggest cowboys known to man kind. I will take my chances against Chuck Liddell before I say things like "Fuck you, you protect and serve me" and other hoopla to anyone in those 4 agencies.

1) NYPD
2) LAPD
3) VMPD (Vegas Metro)
4) TDPS (Texas DPS)

PS. I do not condone that cops actions in anyway nor am I defending him.

All I saw was a guy change lanes twice then allow another driver to change lanes in front of him. The guy on the bike got rear ended, it's the cops fault for following too closely period. Even if the guy was riding like a d-bag, wheelies, endos, etc (which he wasn't) the cop ran into him. And what a prick for having an attitude, he caused the f&*king accident!

Really? What a jerk and it would be nice to see more cope stand up for riders as we have enough shiz to deal with it trying to avoid cars......ride safe guys!

You know, it is the law to make a police report if there is an accident. By the officer leaving, technically he is leaving the scene of an accident without the matter being resolved on the victims insurance company. His rank in the law does not make him obsolete or dismiss him from legal action.
