UpMap have finally released the maps for Euro 5 models. Still no mention of the Mtorque maps though.

I’m looking forward to trying this out, just need to get the proper cable. My bike is equipped with the akra homologated exhaust so I’m thinking the factory exhaust UpMapping will work best.

Anyone tried this yet?

Update... I have the UpMap stock exhaust mapping installed on my bike (again using the Akrapovic homologated slip-on) and disconnected O2 sensor plugs.

Initial thoughts: Bike now backfires slightly when blipping throttle 3-5k rpm. I don't really notice any improvement in ride-ability. Their might be a slight improvement in top-end power.

Concerns: 10 minutes into my test ride and after a 1st-5th gear WOT pull the bike began surging, did not respond to throttle inputs and would surge on and off throttle even with no throttle input. I immediately pulled the clutch and rolled on idle. Ran again and it surged again in 4th-5th. Stopped at a light and restarted the bike, hasn't surged since.

Tested for about 20 minutes so I wanna test some more before coming to any conclusions.

If anyone is curious about O2 sensor locations on the Euro 5 models, here they are... (4 pin translucent yellow connectors)

Thank you so much for this info!

Awesome! Im excited.

Im in the process of doing this. May I ask how were you able to remove the one behind and below the radiator fill neck? Did you have to remove parts to access it? Photos would be appreciated lol!

Upper right side fairing must be removed iirc, pretty straight forward. The one under the seat was kinda tricky but not too much.

Did you have to remove this part? Btw how is the bike after months with upmap?

Great info :)

Just about to do my euro 5 V4S, and trying to find where all 4 of the sensor plugs are located!

Also does anyone know the size of the O2 sensors? As I will remove and get some plugs to cap them off?

I may even trim down the wiring on the sensors, so the plug is not left open to the elements. At worst it's only buying 4 new sensors, if at anytime I return the bike to a stock map. Very unlikely though.

FYI. Termi T800 Up-Map always asks you to unplug the 02 sensors to not run closed loop fuelling control. It is actually quite easy to disable closed loop within the Tune and save the work of getting to all the sensors. Termi just does not seem to know how to. If anyone is interested to try it out. Let me know.
