Has anyone replaced the stock with the Akra on their V2?

I don't mean folks that got it delivered with the Akra already on, but actually rode it with stock and then the Akra.

What are the difference in sound levels?

Any other comments?

Thx

U buddy of mine picked his up, all stock. I had picked mine up with the Akrapovič installed. dB still in. Both bikes are in my garage for the time being so I had a chance to compare them side-by-side.

Mine is significantly louder, depper. It pops. It gives you smiles. It is a must! Haha.

The police in the UK are significantly pickier about volume levels.

I rode mine stock until the first service...then got the Akra Evo full system. The stock sound is nice but....there is a lot of timing belt and gear whirring noise that comes through with the stock system. The Akra is significantly louder than stock, even with db's in. It sounds badass!
Pros: sounds sick! Great performance!
Cons: my tinnitus now has a bad case of tinnitus!
If the local authorities are hard nosed then stock might give you less grief. IMO

Haven’t followed the V2 but assumed the engine platform was the same as the 99s. There’s a timing belt in the V2 now?

Holy .... I DID write that LOL. Looks like my early morning zip file like texting took over ha! Somehow I was attempting to convey the sound of the motor was belt like with the whirring. Not a harsh sound. Coffee...then phone!
