I don’t think anybody who goes to the track thinks a bike makes you fast lol

No offense to the guys who don’t go to the track, but even if you’ve been one time you know it’s not the bike.

I’m pretty confident that I have about the fastest and best setup bike at most of the track days I go to, except for maybe the HP4 Race….and I’m a good 20 seconds off the pace of the fastest guys there.

Granted I’m a newer rider, but having a better bike MAYBE makes a 1 to 3 second difference in lap time, much less improvement that learning how to ride the bike with skill and balls.

At track days lots of guys come and compliment the bike, saying things like: “it’s a work of art” “beautiful bike” “week done” that kind of thing, but no one ever says: “woe what a fast bike you’ve built”

Because laptimes have very little to do with the bike, and all the track rats know that.
