He merely said 3-4 seconds is more significant that it would appear at first glance. I'm sorry that was triggering for you. Please find a safe place.
~$5+ million bike that requires a team of technicians to run that you can't even buy vs $32k bike that you can hop on and drive off the lot and ONLY 3-4 sec off. What a piece of garbage...
Wait that track-spec bike didn’t turning you into Pecco? All those mods didn’t give you 10 sec around COTA? Tell us that you spent too much money on your bike without telling us you spent too much money on your bikeProve to us that advertising works without saying advertising works.
I don’t mind Paul spooning me as long as he makes me a seat to my likingI think you should big spoon SuperDomestique. He needs it. If you pop wood, and we all know you will, don't be rude, just roll the hips back so he doesn't get a poking.

Keep up the good work, someone will discover you soon
Awww, someone’s ego is bruised. Lol
The reality is that a “few” seconds a lap slower around Valencia is a different zip code in performance, and anyone who believes that a bike with a 1:1 power:weight ratio is performing “close too” a bike with a 2:1 power:weight ratio has likely never ridden one of these bikes as God intended.
SuperDomestique's response actually put me back into his camp. It was actually pretty good, but then he tried to .... on the guy who has the bike we're all aspiring to build. I wouldn't crap on Craig's bike.
No ego, more amigo.
Everyone believes the hype when they want to. So you bought those upgrades because you thought they would make the bike the same or better?
I don’t mind believing the hype. I bought a Ducati because I believe that it’s the best bike in the segment. Love seeing that the 22 is a sec faster than the previous gen and only 4 sec (it’s probably more like 5-6 only for a couple laps) at Valencia.
The fact that Toprak can lap a sec or 2 slower than Pecco (say at Jerez) shows the potential/capability of these modern liter bikes. Sure it’s not stock but WSBK bikes aren’t even close 5 mil a pop. Marginal gains.
If Jolly believes the hype of a billet MC or thinks a cast one is good enough it prob is just as good, the placebo effect alone is prob worth it either way. Confidence pays in spades.
No I love his bike moreNeither do I. But, it gives me something to aspire to.
Everytime I think do I need X part or Y part, I'm reminded there's a bald Italian test rider who could absolutely dog walk me on a stock bike.
Love Craig's bike, I havent got the riding skillset to justify building one like it
The thought occurred to me:
“A bike with a power:weight ratio of 1:1 (~200hp at 200kg) running steel brakes and a production tire, laps within a few seconds of a bike with a power:weight ratio nearly 100% higher (~300hp at 150kg) running carbon brakes, on a MotoGP spec tire? And we think that’s a credible report? Maybe if we’re talking a 30 or 40 second lap.”
And then I looked at the lap times for Valencia.
A “few” (3-4) seconds at Valencia is a huge difference. That equates to a 9-12 second gap at COTA. The panigale would be lapped twice in a typical race.
Marketing doing what it does.
