V4 Cordona QS Install

Thank you so much for your awesome directions...currently trying to install the Cordona quickshifter on my 2021 Streetfighter V4S, and this might be a stupid question, but how do you disconnect the wiring for the OEM quickshifter? Cannot seem to figure it out not where the plug on the cordona quickshifter would go...doesn’t seem to match or fit anything that is near the OEM quickshifter....

IIRC, the plug for the DQS is in the black plastic panel under the oil check window.

I’m having issues shifting from 5 to 6th under hard acceleration. Anyone else experience this?

The only issues I've had with the Cordona is that I have to use less foot pressure than I was use to with the OEM quickshifter. I use to kind of slam my foot with the OEM, the Cordona seems to prefer a quick firm press.

You can change the amount of pressure you put on it. You can make the cordona stiffer or softer

@cycler

I don't have the software/tools/connector to change it. I would definitely want it stiffer.

ETA: Can you set a threshold where anything above a certain pressure triggers is or is it a range you set?

I had the same issue too, even with the oem.
It seems like they are heat sensitive.
I went with the Translogic now and no issues so far.

I swapped out for stock and it works perfect. Something between the slr tune and cordona wasn’t working correctly.

Interesting. I installed a termi slip on and flashed the bike with a T800, now my Cordona QS doesn’t work. The LED lights up as you would expect it to but it doesn’t function.

Re calibrate the speed sensor

I tried that with the Cordona, no luck. I went back to the OEM QS and still nothing.

Bike runs great though. Still a little hotter than I like.
Did the module get installed correctly? If it’s too close to the header it will melt.

It was previously working fine. No damage to the unit. I had mounted the module on top of the cooling duct for the gear position sensor.

Id contact cycler for some help. Hes very knowledgeable. Sounds like you may need a warranty claim. I had major issues after i did the slr tune. Frank at slr explained he tuned the quick shift times with the stock shifter. Before the tune the cordona unit worked fine. But after the slr tune it would lock me out of 6th under hard acceleration. I slaved the factory qs back in and it was perfect.

Was the LED working? Mine flashes twice on power on and I can switch it to GP shift and then it will flash once on power on.

It does NOT blink on upshifts though.
