Hi

Bought 2018 v4 , want to put latest version of water pump.

What I need? Just fuel pump, or whole assembly? As I dont want to water gets into oil..

Anybody have part numbers? I research forum but still dont understand if need whole assembly

Edit : latest pump is 24920511F or 24920512F?

I'd wait for the 2025 part # to see if they changed it again. The gear is removable so you just need the pump. There's a seal that seals the rod bearing oil feed as it goes from the case to the crank end. I think it's prudent to change that. The rest should be OK if the mileage is low. Get a manual. The waterpump itself has two opposing bolt holes that are threaded to the next size up to be used with the appropriate sized bolts to break the seal from the sealant gluing it on. Leave the reversing idler alone.

Thanks for reply.

Where is that feed oil seal located? Near water pump? This one number 27? https://ibb.co/WN7VxMm4

DIdnt understand about bolts and breaking seal. English isnt my native. You mean on hole on photo (photo attached) , i need to make that holes passable? That holes are for coolant doesnt go into oil? Why old and new pump have holes, but on old versions water gets to coolant?

Also do I need to put new version of oil pump? As I read that oil one can be prone to failures if bearings get little play

Yes it's seal #27. If you look at the hole next to the weep hole you'll see it's threaded. The hole on the opposite side is also threaded. This allows you to put in screws of that size which is one size larger than the threaded holes in the cases. You screw down those to break the sealant on the pump free after you have the aluminum screws out. I think they changed the inner seal on the pump shaft bearings that stopped the coolant getting into the oil on the first revision. I'm ready to assemble a motor and am waiting to see if they changed the oil pump again. Since you have an 18, I'd change both the water and oil pumps.
