V4 Superleggera: So Who Is Ordering One?

I agree. Also, this bike is a big step up from the 1299SL so even after it eventually dips, it might hold something around $75k plus for a while.

Something else that I haven't seen anyone comment on: If you ride these bikes properly (track time, canyons, curvy back roads) they are physically demanding to ride well. Even if you stay fit, your ability to ride one well is going to be better at 45 or 50 than at 55 plus. Is it worth losing three or four prime riding years with the bike in order to save an amount of money that for some likely V4SL buyers (even used buyers) would earn in a month or two? I think that's a question that a lot of potential buyers around 50 need to ask themselves.

I guess if the bike's not going to be ridden it doesn't really matter but for someone who's planning on actually using the bike, it does (as does the warranty that you get if you buy it new).

Hey Stranger, I'm a bit late to the party. Did you do your Experience(s) yet? Were you one of the exclusive 30?

Buy it and then go ride the GP 20 bike

I would love to agree, but all the slots are filled for the GP ride, and there's a good chance the 200 WSBK slots are filled. In addition, it's a €4000 deposit PLUS €16000 before you arrive. I own one and it is by far the best bike I've ridden other than the WSBK and GP22 bike. (I did it) You won't get too much depreciation, and probably may get very little because this is a rare bike never to be reproduced and probably something completely different when they get to do another one. Buy it NOW!!! I promise you will never regret it.

When did you do your F22 and GP22 rides? Rinaldi or Bautista's bike?

For all the flack that biplane got when it unveiled, I'm sure it's mind blowing. Those steps up to SL, WSBK, then MotoGP are some big steps. If you can share your experience, it would be appreciated.
Simon's summery, "That was the most amazing thing I've ever experienced IN MY LIFE... besides the birth of my children...( think fast, wife is watching🤣 ) IN MY LIFE!"
Very funny, very compelling.

The full Ducati MotoGP™ Experience with Simon Crafar

That GP22 experience at WDW 2022 Misano a few days ago. Worth watching. Answers a lot of questions though I didn't realize how much Simon Crafar is in sales haha a.
There is a lot of preparation and testing before one is allowed to hop on a GP bike, but then, ya, 3 laps is not a lot.

Simon's ride was 2 weeks ago today ;)

And if you count Pit Out and Pit In, it was 4 laps total.

Simon got to ride Pecco's bike while the rest of the guys (I believe) rode Pirro's GP22. It may have been many years since Simon rode in the premier class, but he was arguably the fastest of the lucky 6 or 7 who rode that day.
