The V4R will take the same Akra exhaust as the other V4 models, only difference is the mapping that gets downloaded to the ECU. When we first got them we were told to plan for around 6 hours and after installing a couple it was clear that it's a 2-day job for one tech to complete so we charge 10 hours for the install. I wish it wasn't that, but that's reality. Everything is so tightly packaged and lots of "stuff" to disassemble to get to everything and then put it all back together.
Unless I'm mistaken all of the shots of the R already have the pipes with stock end cans? Maybe just not in titanium? so you may be able to get the full performance with slip-ons, just not the weight savings.
Just an observation.
The "R" has different primary tubes than the other models. Is it possible the only real difference between it and the full Akra is the second half of the exhaust?
I have the half carbon clutch cover on order but it's not due until end of April, I've asked the dealer to just remove the OEM cover and I will ride without
Congrats!! Mine will be here in about 2 weeks!! Then Full Akro being installed, Carbon fiber clutch cover, Racing Switches both sides, kickstand delete, Quick change disk setup and full Racing prep... I will be Racing mine the End of April at Thunderbolt in NJ. USA..
