I already have one on order...My dealer told me that this bike will be special order only, could be telling me BS, but I was buying one regardless

I’m going to say no winglets. Only those extraction vents. Looking forward to eicma.

The R need better handling and not lean so far for so long. Rea's and his Ninja look like they are on a Sunday morning run to his favorite cafe.

Iv had an "˜R' on order for a little while now, and on the invoice it states the colours are red & white. Also the price is £40K here in the UK

I didnt know you could pre-order them ? :eek::eek:

So do you know anything about the v4R then, specs etc or just ordered for the love of it :D

I've been waiting for the italian bike show unvieling on 4th Nov to decide between the V4R or V4S

i have a message sent by Ducati, unfortunately I can't upload the images.

It shows a sneaky photo of what will be red fairings with unpainted carbon winglets like the motogp bikes.

Makes sense as in WSBK the race fairings have to look the same as the homologated road bikes, so Ducati will add winglets for aerodynamic aids.

It looks like the R will follow the script of a mainly red bike, white number boards and gold wheels, should look great.

We know it has the shorter stroke 1000cc engine, and a dry clutch. I would guess it won't have electronic suspension as this is banned in WSBK.

In my mail from Ducati they said the bike will be released online on November 4th at 7 pm Central European time at premier.ducati.com and on the official Ducati Facebook page.

Past R models have had electronic suspension WSBK teams don't run what comes out the box
