Just re watched the race tonight. Was not a huge Mark Marquez fan. However after watching the race again tonight I lost all respect for the very aggressive Honda rider. During the closing laps of the race with 3 laps to go coming into turn 8. I have a very very difficult time believing the master of late braking and super aggressive passing could not match his team mates braking into turn #8. Danni P made up a bus length and more in a single turn to the Marquez and Lorenzo. And then caught them both passed Marquez and then all of a sudden Mark remembers how to race for the next few corners to late brake and over take his team mate all the while not making a single attempt on the leader. I have watched GP racing for the better part of 30 plus years and have never seen such a sad display of a rider dictating the outcome of a championship like this.

Honda must be in a real tough spot with a rider acting in such a way to allow a rival team win like this. So sad for Padrosa and Rossi. Mostly Padrosa, he was just trying to win a race and not get caught up in the drama. Mark on the other hand in no way could let his team mate win while letting Lorenzo loose the Championship while battling Padrosa.

it does leave a bad taste in my mouth, and Marquez and Lorenzo are definitely on my hate list now - before, it was just Lorenzo.

that being said, as rabid a Rossi fan as I am, I was pretty stunned in Sepang, and I've watched the Phillip Island race a couple times and am leaning towards Marquez just racing and not sandbagging.

the theory is that Rossi lost his cool, his objectivity, his love for the race itself, and for the first time focused on just getting that championship - the reason being that he hoped to put on the mother of all win ceremonies (and his ceremonies are never small), completely dedicated to Marco Simoncelli.

2016 should be interesting - no more open class. Spec ECU. Because the spec ECU is basically what the open class has been running, but "simplistic" compared to what the factory teams were running, it should level the mechanical playing field a bit, and hopefully rider skill will show through even more.

rossi vs marquez argentina i never relized it before but watch it in slow motion rossi passes marquez, looks back to see where he is, changes his line rolls off throttle and cause crash.

i know the rossi sheep wont mention this or agree to it, thats fine.

MM didnt cry over it like rossi has been doing, nor did he not not show up for the awards like a child. he said we will learn his techniqes

anyway here is the video watch in slow motion as rossi peeks back sees where mm is changes his line watch his had off the throttle causing the crash

lastly this stat sums it up so how on earth do you think rossi won the championship
victories 7-4
race laps lead
lorenzo 274
rest of moto gp 174

CASE IS RESTED.

Why do we need to review stats? It comes down to most points right? Lorenzo had more so he won. Case closed...

HAHAHA!!!
You're spanish, no?

MM slammed into VR before that corner and THAT's why VR looked back, probably thinking "WTF?!" hahaha

Because of tire choice, VR was running a full 1 second faster laps than MM. No way MM was going to keep up, and he pushed way more than he should have. C'mon man... see it for exactly what it is.

Tricks? I think that's called race craft ;)

It is only race craft if you do not cry when you get caught out. Rossi cried like a little girl.

I stole the pic. Thanks to the original poster/creator/artist/seer of all truth. :D

Seriously you're blind. Rossi turns his head when Marquez and he make contact. Marquez tried to turn when his front was overlapping Rossi's rear wheel. Marquez went down. Marquez's fault.

I would like to hear what Pedrosa thought of his "team mate's" ........ game.
The way Dani has been running after his latest surgery 2016 could be his year, if he can stay healthy

Marquez was going down no matter what - you don't lose a massive lead like that unless something's wrong with your bike, and Marquez gambled with this tires. And it would have worked, if Rossi wasn't as on the ball as he was. No one else on the grid, including Lorenzo, could run on the hardest option tires at the pace that Rossi did, and catch Marquez. The difference in lap times by the time Rossi caught up to Marquez was measured in SECONDS.

Marquez' response to being passed? Ram the other guy, as usual. So if Marquez wants to play according to those rules, then why shouldn't Rossi? Marquez drew first blood, and could have avoided going down, but he doesn't know how to slow down when he's gotten the mother of all block passes.

Marquez was definitely butthurt. He didn't whine to the press about it like Rossi did (a clear mistake), but Rossi is the first rider that Marquez hasn't been able to bully and physically push out of the way, and in fact, has crashed out of most of those confrontations. If Marquez isn't bitter about his main technique no longer working, he's not human, or he's a Zen monk.

This is going to backfire on MM…his aggressive behaviour is now on the radar of race direction… if he pulls this slowing down and acting innocent nonsense next year, (and he will, its his new signature move) … I think we will see penalty points deducted..
Only Pedrosa can save us now…

You are a Rossi lover. It makes you blind. Get over it.
