Just wanted to share a couple videos of me at my first track day with my Panigale at Pacific Raceways. I was riding a bit conservatively since I didn't really know the other riders or the track that well but holy .... is this bike easy to ride fast :D

I also learned that the bike chews through fuel rather quickly on the track and ran out of gas on my last lap, as you will see in the second video

I get about 3 15-20 minute sessions before I need to refuel. . so share your high fuel usage observation. ..

That track looks nice. I'm used to tracks with no trees within sight. Might kind of freak me out with no clear run off space but a beautiful track/run and glad you took it out for a great run. Feels great doesn't it ?

In the morning I got three sessions out of the tank, but I was not gunning her as hard as in these videos. After first video session, low fuel light went on but then disappeared. I checked tank and could still see fuel so i went back out. Light came on during last session and I got about 10 miles (as you can see in video) running at track pace before she died.

Pacific Raceways is a very pretty track. I actually really like the closed in feel of the track without big open areas for runoff. Helps me focus more when I'm gunning it :D. Bike definitely feels amazing on the track! I have another track day coming up on the 20th at The Ridge (the other track here in WA). REALLY looking forward to letting the Panigale stretch her legs on that track; it's way smoother than PR :)

Bummed I couldn't make it out... Peter's bike is looking good :D

Are you going to the track day at the ridge on the 20th?

what stability problems?

hi

Yeah, Peter's bike looks so sick. If I didn't use mine on street and track I would love to do something like he has done with the bodywork.

Totally planning on going to the Ridge on the 20th! A buddy of mine and I are having our Panigales hauled down their via the service that Duc Bellevue uses since neither of us have a trailer and then we are driving down Sunday night and staying in the Shelton Super 8 so we can be at the track bright and early without a long drive from Redmond :D

Are you going to be there, Bucci? You can't miss the Panigale victory lap; it's going to be awesome!

Nope, not once. My highest indicated at PR was 168mph and the bike felt solid as a rock the whole time. She wanted to go even faster and i know the bike can break 180 through T1, but i was still getting the timing down for the entrance so i didnt want to blow it and swing wide into the dirt at 170+ :D I'm not sure what is happening on other people's machines but my 1199 feels more stable and rideable at those speeds than my 1198 SP did. This bike was made for the track and riding at track speeds, plain and simple.

Have you had the weaving problem with yours?
