Took today off to hit up the backroads before the weather cools back down to normal. It's 75F today, maybe 60F tomorrow and all of next week.
Anyway, I pass a white Mercury Mountaineer in the burbs. A few s after I'm ahead of him, I take a backroad that's twisty and avoids congestion I was closing in on back on the main road. When I pull back on the main road I'm right behind the Mountaineer.
Fast forward another 5min and I'm still behind the Moutaineer on a backroad, with enough room for me to pass him and the 2 cars ahead of him slowing us all down.
I drop into 2nd followed by WOT. The Mountaineer swerves directly at me as I pass him, missing me by about 1'. 100% blatant. Impossible for cars to pass there, only bikes.
As I ride down the road a few spots for hasty roadside ambushes present themselves, but I get it out of my mind and enjoy the hell out of the rest of the day.
Long story short, be careful passing the same loser twice, in all their pathetic helplessness they may try something unbelievably stupid. Not looking for sympathy or "glad you're ok" stuff - I learned a new twist on good tactics today and how to prepare for it. Just sharing so others may avoid the same BS.
