not best advice in terms of DOJ and IRS and big gov watching over everyone.

but the spirit of comment is a good one.

I honestly don't think I can take this forum seriously (and I use that word very loosely, an internet forum is never serious). It is actually a shame because we all signed up here because we have at least one thing in common that being an interesting in an amazing piece of engineering.

Aside from that this place feels like Netflix and 4chan had a lovechild. Most of the threads turn into fights which is kind of sad because when I signed up in the beginning of the year I would use the forum and it's wealth of information. Don't know if this is a cry for help for the site admin or whoever but if things keep up at this pace you'll pretty much lose your members (if that even matters to you).

It's a shame because I've been able to meet some really kick ass people through this board.

I tend to respect everyone until they prove otherwise. Good thing about the forum is you can get the just of person by comments made to others.

We have many strong personalities here, and when a couple get in a fight like here, they tend to use which words they think will have the most impact in their "battle". You cannot control people on this forum with words. Even if every member posted here against what was said, OP would just fight back with more words, and we would have thousands of posts here before it slowly died away. Every attack post will attract a counter attack post and so on... PMs will not be used because the OPs want everyone to know what "weapons" (words) they have at their disposal :)

search IRS scandal; AP scandal; freedom of speech under NDAA; etc etc etc

put another way: if i have to explain, then you probably won't understand nor believe...

I'm sorry but what does the DOJ and IRS have to do with using your name on a forum?

here's a bit of advice: GET OVER IT...now run along and go cry on some more shoulders...whinning little b*tch...and they let you serve? thats a sad statement on our military and their selection process......

elitesoldier357, You obviously display loyalty by standing up for your friend and his family even after his death. You also demonstrate compassion for his family and respect for their loss, traits that any friend should have and the qualities needed for people who serve our country. You sir, are a perfect statement to the quality of our military and their selection process. We need more soldiers like you, who know that there are lines that should not be crossed and that we have to respect all people lest we forget that our military is not only for kicking ass, but also to SERVE, it takes humility to do that. We cannot all be badasses like RSR racer. Carry on.

I'm bored...is the little doggy gonna bark all day or is he gonna bite?

"elite" (not too full of yourself with that moniker) you have a pm:D

I'm right there with ya dude... I believe when you call someone out with your real name tagged on your post... it has a little more validity to it. Hell, I've flat called idiots out for their trollish behaviour and have no problem speaking my mind.

The .... that was said was outta line IMO but I really would have just ignored it, rather than bringing more attention to his comment.

i feel a shiver down my spine when i hear about one of us dying in a motorcycle accident, although it happens far too often. i wish his family the best -- i can't imagine losing a member of my family to a traffic accident, or anything else. RIP.

and that guy's comment was obviously incredibly disrespectful and meant to be. OP is right, way out of line! i'm shocked that the webmaster, or whatever, doesn't give him the boot straight away. but it is just an internet forum, no one has to read what's said: back browser, close window, turn off your computer. we don't actually live here.

my question is this -- as insensitive as it sounds, i gotta know -- does the wife still ride bikes? an 1199? or why does she read the panigale forum? especially the technical threads?

Ok I gotta chime in. I have seen posts where Rsr racer offered good solid advice and elite soldier went off on him taking it the wrong way. Obviously tempers were tested on "both" sides. Things are said in anger and I don't know either of the fellas, but I would not be so quick to bash Rsr racer on a post that only highlights one point of view as the title thread. Just saying as I see it.
