WAY out of line...

We have many strong personalities here, and when a couple get in a fight like here, they tend to use which words they think will have the most impact in their "battle". You cannot control people on this forum with words. Even if every member posted here against what was said, OP would just fight back with more words, and we would have thousands of posts here before it slowly died away. Every attack post will attract a counter attack post and so on... PMs will not be used because the OPs want everyone to know what "weapons" (words) they have at their disposal

I think he had a run in with the cops on his bike, plus, the IRS thinks he has no assests - both are scouring the internet looking for him!

I'm right there with ya dude... I believe when you call someone out with your real name tagged on your post... it has a little more validity to it. Hell, I've flat called idiots out for their trollish behaviour and have no problem speaking my mind.

The .... that was said was outta line IMO but I really would have just ignored it, rather than bringing more attention to his comment.

i feel a shiver down my spine when i hear about one of us dying in a motorcycle accident, although it happens far too often. i wish his family the best -- i can't imagine losing a member of my family to a traffic accident, or anything else. RIP.

and that guy's comment was obviously incredibly disrespectful and meant to be. OP is right, way out of line! i'm shocked that the webmaster, or whatever, doesn't give him the boot straight away. but it is just an internet forum, no one has to read what's said: back browser, close window, turn off your computer. we don't actually live here.

my question is this -- as insensitive as it sounds, i gotta know -- does the wife still ride bikes? an 1199? or why does she read the panigale forum? especially the technical threads?

Ok I gotta chime in. I have seen posts where Rsr racer offered good solid advice and elite soldier went off on him taking it the wrong way. Obviously tempers were tested on "both" sides. Things are said in anger and I don't know either of the fellas, but I would not be so quick to bash Rsr racer on a post that only highlights one point of view as the title thread. Just saying as I see it.

Speaking of that, the R1 Forum I used to frequent had annual get-togethers that included a Deal's Gap Convention and an Forum track day. I know we're spread to the winds here, but maybe we could have some regional meets? If nothing else, we could see Elite and RSR throw down in person and get some wagers in

I personally would love to take my Panigale to Barber Motorsports Park in Alabama, VIR in North Carolina and of course Jennings GP and PBIR in FL which are my home tracks.

Maybe worthy of a new thread?

Thanks guys! I just thought it would be a little more vengeful if I just started a new thread so everyone could see what kind of person he really is. Nor do I care to take up a challenge to try to prove myself better than said person. He set the bar for himself down low by saying such a thing. I have heard a lot of personal attacks but none like this. Just like one of you said, I think I have seen it all now.

Also, he did not PM me apologizing, but some of you did for him

To that I am grateful for the few good men. Debating is one thing, but telling me that my friend dying in front of me was a meant as a lesson is crossing the line. There is no need for such attacks.
