Ducati Forum

Help Support Ducati Forum:

Forged. Again. This time 4.1kg.
the scale is not that precise, but should be within 0.1 kg.
1L glass cleaner weights 1.1kg with the bottle.
1 pound is an lot, maybe the rims differ?
this one is stamped: B925.05

Just got the front BST Rapid Tek with standard bearings for the V4S. 6lb 0oz:

Seems to me like Ducati already makes a pretty light front wheel even on base models
The rear is where you save most weight
I purchased an OZ rear wheel and I been looking to find a front one but might just stick with stock front until a find a great deal

Btw, good threat, I'm riveted.
Is it just me or has anyone else notice the people complaining about "objectification" are not models?

He actually addressed that in a video. Apparently she's a bikini model and does the Instagram thing and its not like she's being pimped out.

The self promotion quality of big ....s isn't lost on the Ducati crowd.

No Donna 6 pounds is correct for his front wheel so your pos S/R wheel is lighter yeah I and everyone else will call the biggest ........ on this one. Still no tire on that thing .... that was 6 months ago. When is that dumpster pile of parts going to be running?

For everyone that wants the real correct weights on the Marchesini wheels here you go this is with bearings no rotors.

The stock S/R wheels will be within a few ounces of the forged aluminum wheels.

Forged aluminum
Front- 7.99 lbs
Rear-10.88 lbs

Forged magnesium
Front- 6.04 lbs
Rear- 7.76 lbs

Guess I forgot to post the weight of the OEM forged V4S:
K1cmDWq.jpg

So to recap:
OEM V4S forged fr: 7 lbs 1 oz = 7.06 lbs
BST Rapid Tek fr: 6 lbs 0 oz = 6.0 lbs

OEM V4S forged rear: 8 lbs 1 oz = 8.06 lbs
BST Tapid Tek rear: 5 lbs 8 oz = 5.50 lbs

These match pretty close to what Motomillion shows on their site:

Yeah same wheel as dumpster .... has and your scale is more closer to correct then his scale will ever be.

Why count oz when you can count poundsView attachment 36770
Haha, I just got the shipping confirmation 10 minutes ago that my Sicom is finally coming. Also, tomorrow gonna peel the CMCs off the R1M and fit to the carriers Jeff sent me last month.
Should be about 3.5 lbs less than the front OEM rotors.

Good call, overall weight, sprung weight, rotational weight and a lot more thermally stable. Hard to be that in a part. These front rotors are actually for sale. I have Sicom fronts coming.

Self delusion is a mother ......

You speaking for everyone...

Not in a million years Chicky
