I studied endocrinology thinking I was going into medicine only to come to the realization that it wasn’t for me. I subsequently invested in a string of what became very successful life extension clinics. The name was a nickname that stuck.

Anyone got a true measured apples to apples weight on the OZ Gass rear?

From this thread and others across the interweb I think I've got the following...ish

Base V4 Rear 9.1 lbs
stock V4S rear 8.1 lbs
March Mg Rear 7.7 lbs
OZ Cattiva Mg Rear 6.75 lbs
Thyssenkrupp rear 6.41 lbs
BST Carbon Rear 5.5 lbs?

OZ Gass Rear i've seen claimed 6lbs (not likely) all the way up to close to 8

Thank you! Not sure why that post never hit my search results but that's thoroughly embarrassing.

Recently weighed. Fronts are without discs or hardware but include spacers as these are captive on the Oz wheels so weighed those with the OEM also

OEM V4R wheels:

Rear: 3665g (8.05lb)
Front: 3239g (7.14lb)

Oz Racing Cattiva R magnesium wheels:

Rear: 3018g (6.65lb)
Front: 2849g (6.28lb)

Thinking of getting OZ Gass Forged Aluminum set to replace V4S set. Do you guys think it’s worth it?
