So far, the most amusing things about my bike:

1. Setting off car alarms with a stock exhaust

2. Accidental wheelies on less than full throttle

3. Feeling like I've lost my motorcycle virginity (even though I've been riding since 1994)

What other favorite ownership moments have you all experienced?

Coming home and finding my girl half naked taking photos on the bike for my desk at work!!! WTF! My response was " why are you only half naked" :)

Never did that with any of my other bikes or cars... Must be something about these bikes...

Indubitably! :D

I hear you on the car alarm thing. I went into the parking structure here on campus and its about 5 stories. All the civics, priuses, imports... were going off as I kept going up levels... its like they were trembling in fear as I passed :D

The shear throttle response, the no ........ confidence diving into a corner, the ominous warning the Ducati red flies, the silky smooth precision of every aspect, and the thunder of 200+ ponies spread across 600lbs.

flick to the left, then...wait the bike already flicks to the right before i know it! then the power that shoot you out of the turn....oh la la

Other than whats been said - the dashboard.

At switch-on, I used to think it was cool when my R6 swung its needles round .... this moves the goalposts a little further on:rolleyes:

Everything :D The fact that no matter how many bikes are around, everyone wants to come and talk about the Pani. The absolute growl it gives, espeically when you start going over 100MPH and of course the confidence it gives me when riding. She is a beast!

Once i came back from a 3 hour ride and had still a lot of adrenalin in my blood. It was already dark.
I left the autobahn hit town with 120 km/h and had to reduce speed because of a traffic light 500 m ahead.
Didn't touch the brakes or the clutch. Just downshiftet by hitting the throttle. Engine was screaming as most of you know. I like that sound a lot.

Two bikers standing at the traffic light turned the head and looked scared although i was still 100m away.

Did i mention that i love the sound? :D

Starting the engine up just as an unsuspecting pedestrian is walking by & scaring the living bejesus outta them.

the sound is awesome! couple of times this past summer on the highway cruising, as i rode next to people they would close their windows if i rode next to them for more than 5 -10 minutes, that was my chuckle, gigity! gigity!

I forgot to mention:

4. The massive hit of power at 8500 RPM--like a 2-stroke getting "on the pipe"

Sound is a def. giggle factor

Hit the starter button whil parked next to a couple of people on bicycles. I usually only get nasty looks when I'm going past them.

I thought to myself as I was riding away. "Wait until I pass your ass":D

On another instance I was taking it easy through the neighborhood being the responsible neighborly type. There is one downhill section though that really gets the pani(sanibella) loud when I am off the throttle. On one occasion I scared a guy who was raking leaves so bad he ducked down like someone was shooting at him. Sheesh dude calm down. :)

Just comical moments in my breif ownership time.
