What about your Panigale makes you giggle?

When I'm on the com riding with my buddy I like to say, "Hey, you know we're riding pretty hard, I think I need to increase my horsepower a bit, maybe increase my engibne braking, oh, and I think I need to adjust my traction control computer and stiffen up the shocks.....ok done." To which I get the standard response, "F*ck you." And I giggle.

Lol - that's pretty funny.

Kinda like, "forgive me if I momentarily drop back, bike says I gotta release the throttle, while it switches settings!" :D

Looking at the non-existant tool kit!..............and Bowdy's half naked girlfriend! PICS!

The quickshifter still gets me. Nailing the throttle, accelerating hard at 100mph+ ya snick another gear and that sweet seamless rush keeps coming. Totally imperceptible. I feckin love it:D and the sound is just the best EVER. Why do we even have to muck about with other exhausts?? lol. Man and machine eh? Just dont try and explain it to a woman.;)

Hitting the gas coming out of a turn faster than I should be, seeing the TC light flickering but feeling only acceleration.. The way the back end gets a bit light under hard braking, but never gets unstable.. The rush of power at 8K.. The agility.. so many things about this bike make me smile.

Putting traffic and other bikes behind me at will always puts a sly grin on me and a little snicker

The "pop" from the quickshifter, it's hard to get it right though, seems like it does it best when at lower rpm without too much load on the engine.

And then it's the growl when you go WFO.....combined with the bucking front end it's the closest ting to riding a fire-breathing dragon:D

You WIN !

Coming home and finding my girl half naked taking photos on the bike for my desk at work!!! WTF! My response was " why are you only half naked" :)

Never did that with any of my other bikes or cars... Must be something about these bikes...

Gotta say, I though this thread was going to be a bit lame - 'giggle' is not a word often used in this riders vocabulary, but this was an absolute hoot. Keep 'em coming - though Bowdy's will take some beating! (195Hi setting now required)

Not to derail the topic, but not only was I shocked by Bowdy's post, but also that he mentioned for his desk at work! Question for you guys in OZ, is that kind of thing acceptable or does Bowdy work from home? Try that in the states and you'd be out on the street in no time. I guess the upside is that you would have more time to ride and that might lead to more giggles. :)

Wasn't shocked. I took it as a little tongue-in-cheek though. But, somehow I get the impression that Bowdy might not work at the Church of Australia and perhaps this would fly! Maybe I should apply for a job...

I have to say though, i live in a town where there are many Pani's

my first time with it to the Rock Store mine was the only one in the lot, before i left, there were three more and that was in the scope of 20 minutes.

but when i start it up, you get the mad respect from all sportbike riders, and Harley riders.

It makes me giggle when i see these Iron Butts come over and can NOT find a bad thing to say, it is always complimentary

Damn! Well said. It IS an engaging bike like few others (no other?), isn't it?

5. Absolute immaterialness (word?) of the blurry mirrors---one flick of the wrist and you're ahead of whatever was behind you, regardless.

Hmmmm well that kills it, can't post photos cause it might offend... I did say half naked... Guess that's what happens when ur ex-vogue model fiancé feels that u need to take more notice of her and less notice of the toys in the garage...

I will share a funny story, we were at Philip island last year and she was bending over fitting a front tyre warmer and I watched two guys walk straight in to the garage door, not looking where they were going... Just shook my head and smiled... She's a good chick...

Still made me smile, a lot... They are actually really good photos...

Those of u in Aus get ur butts to the WSBK at PI and u can take ur own photos, :)

Not been to church since I was a kid, too much racing on Sundays for church.. And being the boss means u can put what ever u want on ya desk... :) guess us Aussies are just a bit more relaxed about that stuff...

I'm hopefully coming to PI Bowdy, going to annoy you with my bike questions :)
