What boots are you wearing on the track?

Would something like Puma 1000 v3s be overkill for just road use?

People ask me these questions in the showroom all the time, and I always say "Well, if you were heading out for a ride, and you KNEW you were going to crash, what would you want to be wearing?". Wear the best gear you can tolerate. ;)

That makes sense, but if I knew I was going out for a ride and knew I was going to crash, I would put on a full sized human airbag, screw the boots lol

Sidi's for me. Fit my feet perfectly and love the amount of support they give. They also look sick :)

+1 on the Alpinestars Supertech R's. Every bit a good as the Sidi's but much easier to put on/take off without endless buckles, latches, wires, etc.

+1 Immediately comfortable and really light. They are really nice.

In my opinion there is no such thing as overkill for road use... Full gear looks very cool on this bike and the streets are a lot more dangerous than the track.
I'd rather go off at 120 mph on the track than be clipped by a car at 50. You have a lot more stuff to hit on the road... The track will keep you sliding.

I used to wear Puma GP1000 V3 but they are low in quality imo.
Now I have the SIDI Vortice and I love them!
