LOL I figured as much. Not paranoid at all, I find it best to encourage individuals to explore the correct way of doing things. It tends to build a pattern of successful outcomes in peripheral areas. Once you become “comfortable” with “winning it” it tends to develop habitual bad habits that will eventually lead to an unfavorable conclusions.

I just asked a guy that has successfully built a dozen of these motors and he removes them the same way : )

Hmmm, from what has been written on this board looks like this is a more likely the parts department.

Going back over some threads (2016 to present) I noticed a common theme. It seems you two have driven away more than just DucatiKev. I got a kick outta the guys telling you to go to Ducati modified “where you belong” n stuff like that but seriously, do you ever look at your motives? Do you ever consider if they are honorable or not? Or are you only looking outward, never in???

I lie every once in a while. Sometimes my mouth moves faster than my mind and ego prevails. But I try to live by spiritual principles these days so I clean up any falsities by simply saying something like, “Wow, I don’t even know why I said that, that was not true!” In a post I can just back up and erase it before hitting the blue button. You guys ever look at your thoughts and ask yourself where they are coming from???

When its a serious question, I try to provide a serious answer. My answers are based on things I have actually done and own which is why I provide pictorial documentation. I try not to reply to anything technical that I have not physically done or give an opinion on something that I do not physically own or have no experience with (racing, suspension setup, tuning (other than hardware)general bolt on accessories, "Is Rossi done etc). I tend to avoid those posts as I have nothing valuable to ad but an opinion which is baseless unless the thread is goofy then I may partake in silly banter because its so annoying, you have to. You on the other hand you spout of on just about every thread on this board regardless of your personal interaction to the reference so no, I do not reflect much.

My banter with you personally is strictly recreational as I find your dialog a ambiguously entertaining. Technically, I think you have skills but sometimes you ask questions that are so far removed from that observation that I question that thought. I'm sure you are a nice guy but do I think you should have used some thread locker on your own personal screws? You betcha cause there seems to be a few loose ones (observational opinion of course) Back to the comedy.

Quite the opposite actually. I had to take a torch to the red loctite and do a bunch of work before I could lose some of my old ideas and bad programming. Still have a long ways to go

My observation likely means little or nothing to anyone, but this comment ^^^ is the most thoughtful I’ve seen you make on this subject and I appreciate the real talk.

Say what you will about Don, I think you and Mick generally come off looking worse than him in these exchanges. If he’s the fool you guys insist he is, then you both end up looking like insecure bullies, and your bullying ends up being more distracting than whatever Don said (except the nonsense with Cycler). If you guys really think Don is spreading misinformation, and you want to contribute to the forum by correcting the record, then you can do that without looking like chest-thumping elitist pricks, and most people would probably respect your opinions even more.

Ok Craig well if you see it that way then join Don and see how that goes cause I know your not doing much on these bikes . I get a .... load of pm's daily here with people asking for help on many different topics and the over n over questions of "what is the deal with this Don clown". The reality is you got Don shitting on every thread that exists here (most of them already give enough or helpful info) and he turns it all into a .... show. Obviously he does not want to learn anything, can't learn anything and just wants to stir up bunch ....... nonsense that makes no sense.

Hey Craig, first of all “welcome to the board” second besides being a .... I also fee I provide good info and content when presented with posts that deserve it. I like Mick have helped out a lot of people on this board and I have personally given away a lot of parts to people who needed them so I could give 2 ..... what anyone thinks. With regard to Don, I can’t speak for Mick but I don’t take Don seriously at all. Strictly entertainment. As far as “bullying” goes, sounds like something right out of the “Ducati modified” ethics handbook. Maybe head over there.

They will see that a BUNCH of people over the years have been telling these two that they are exactly what you said Craig and telling them to beat feet. Unfortunately most of those people have moved on and no longer frequent the forum
