I'm a grunt, throttle to the rubber to the pavement rider. I live downtown Chicago. I ride safe and survive in daily traffic with half the traffic population not from around here and not used to these driving conditions, it's a dangerous game.
I currently ride an 899. All electronics off. I like the feel of raw wrist to road. I like when my rear wheel kicks out a bit because there's too much dirt on that side of the road, or that my rear will lock up if i'm trying to slow down faster than i ever should have put myself in a position to be.
With that being said. I'm a grunt rider. I ride hard. I ride good. I'm a motorist. The 899 has been fun and it plays well in the Chicago traffic. I'm concerned there is something else out there that may suit my riding style better.
What bike is it?
