Whats the Hottest your Temp has risen to?

I got up to 239 in thick traffic at bike week. Is that higher than normal or have others seen their bike this hot while at a stop? Im wondering if my radiator cover is contributing....

New Faring will be here by friday, so much for that fix

256F after changing fluid and not getting the air out correctly.

just for 3 minutes on the highway.
on the way back it got back to normal, as during cool down the reservoir did its duty and filled up the missing part.

224F with lower radiator guard. That was recently stuck in traffic. Ambient temp was only 70F.

When I was like 12, I had pnemonia, and I think I was up to 103. My Mom was really worried. She put cold cloths on my forehead, and considered talking me to the hospital.
