What's your riding mode (wet, sport, race)

I was curious... What's everybody's preferred riding mode. Personally, I started out in the wet mode, but quickly changed to the sport. It seems the sport mode has enough power to keep me interested for now. Does anybody ride daily in "race".

Race just gives you faster throttle response 100% power. Sport gives you 70% throttle power (makes it feel smooth) until you open the throttle all the way, then it gives you 100% power

Sport with 195Hi, although I'm running Lo for a bit after the update.

Also, spare a though for our French friends, who only get 100bhp in all the modes

For the road I use: Sport 195Hi
Track use: Race 195hi
Foul weather use: Rain 195low Rarely use rain mode though.

Before the upmap it was race only, after the upmap sport became fun also, but I just love race overall. The upmap improved all modes of the bike significantly and made sport mode enjoyable for me.

Race 195Hi when I picked it up. Sport 195Lo now for street riding after the map upgrade.

Just my style but I'm faster on 195Lo, can get on throttle earlier in the corner and I'm not fighting the bike on exit. That doesn't mean it's right for everyone, just me.

btw...I've changed all the settings around, my sport and race are basically the same with 195hi/lo being the main difference. You got to keep playing with this thing.

I've customised mine slightly.

RACE - Track or fast roads, 195hi, EBC 3, DTC 2, ABS 1.
SPORT - Day to day road riding, 195hi, EBC 2, DTC 4, ABS 2.
WET - When it's wet, modes left as standard.

I'll sometimes use wet on the motorway to help with fuel consumption. Had to get back across France last year when BF went on strike, we did some experimenting and found WET mode gives you another 6-8 miles per tank.

LOL I didn't even know you could put it in HI and Sport mode. Learn something new every day, especially about this bike :)

You can change all settings from the dash for every mode on an S. I wish it had 1 or 2 custom memory slots.
Base model doesnt have suspension settings on the dash

Not beyond the realms of possibility to get that in a future version of dashboard SW.

Would be great for developing your settings.

I've customized all the setting but with the new map on run in 195lo as its all 1-2-3 gear very tight twisties and it's too responsive on hi to be smooth. Well for me anyway!

I used to leave it in race mode at the track but I got sick of fighting the bike at high lean angles and feeding in the gas. Too hard to be smooth with that map and I was wasting time fighting the bike.

Switched it over to 195Lo and it smoothed out the throttle map and I can feed in the throttle earlier.

After the upmap it made 195Hi a bit better but I still think its glitchy as you first pickup the throttle.

On the street I just leave it in sport mode with 195Lo. I have also turned down the EBC setting by 1.
