When "did" you take delivery? USA only

Hey everyone. I know no ones taken delivery in the States, I'm just curious to see when everyone is "expecting" to pick up their bikes (based on what the dealers told you) and down the road, when people "actually" took delivery ;)
 
I will be picking up my 1199s this coming Tuesday, the first of May. So close!
 
You sais US only, i'm from Canada, hope it doesn't bother you too much...!

I was told by MY dealer (who didn't order any demo), that he would instead receive a TRI for his launch event on April 27th-28th. And since that is my TRI, I could probably pick-up right after the launch party, meaning April 30th.... They also told me there were 3 dealers in the same situation across Canada...if this happens to be true, I'll be one of the few riding a TRI, or any Panigale for that matter, in Canada next week...
Still waiting on a concrete confirmation from my dealer though, and "D" day is getting very close.
 
PeterPan - No worries buddy. It's coming down to the wire and I'm just interested in what the dealers are telling you. I've had mine on order for quite some time, I'm 2# inline for customer bikes and communication from my dealer is a bit non existant...

I touch base with them from time to time but getting little info out of them... (feel like I'm being a nag but also feel like they have .... for communication skills too - lol)

Maybe I'm just being sensitive

Exactly same thing here...!
Though, I believe it's more an issue with Ducati NA, not feeding the dealers with all the information...:rolleyes:
 
I've been told the second week of May for my Tricolore (the first bike is supposed to get here the week prior)...sometimes living in Hawaii has its drawbacks...
 
I ordered my bike in October. I'm picking it up Friday May 4th or Friday May 11th, depending on how Ducati executes. The official ship date for the bike (1199 S) to US dealers is April 23rd. And so, the Ducati USA rep said the first bike to the dealer (mine) should come in during the first, possibly second week of May.

My dealer confirmed that only TWO Tris in Canada. You have one (he even said Montreal) and the other is going to him (Savage Cycles Victoria). They have it there already, launch party this Friday.

I was told I'm #3 in line from my dealer in Chicago....could u be the one before me??? I ordered from motor works. Did you go to them also??? Just want to know cuz that way as soon as I find out you got yours (if in fact u did go to motor works), then I will know that I am getting close to finally receiving mine too.
 
I ordered my Tricolore at the end of March 2012 (USA), My dealer also told me that there was 6 Tricolore's before me. Looks like I may be better just canceling it and getting a 2013 model. Oh well, even though the new BMW S1000RR is a better performance bike, I think the Panigale 1199 is an awesome bike and well worth it. I am very happy to all those who will enjoy such an amazing bike in the 2012 bike season. I think I will console myself with my R1 and Sailing in the San Francisco Bay for 2012 (Hey, America's Cup :) ).

im 8th in Boston MA region, was told yesterday to expect to received my Base on 3rd or 4th week of May

Wow...This is hard to believe..., only 2 in Canada...:confused:
Though, it's a nice EGO boost...:cool:
This means none for Ontario...!?

Still trying to reach Annie...she's been busy all day long...!
If they received my TRI, I'll be there Saturday morning for sure...
Can't make it on Friday...rush hour is crazy these days...!
 
Just talked to my dealer...!
They got my TRI this morning at 11:00...
They are preparing it for the launch...!
And I 'll picking it up end of next week....:D
